Yeah IT is old but the real reason why Canada is named like this is because in the langage of the native, Kanata was the word for village but Champlain (pretty sure you know Who he is) was thinking IT was the name of the place so he just used IT ans because at that Time, nobody liked the native, so no one learned the native language until Everyone was saying Canada to name the country (and yeah, the kanata was not a typo)

Fellow canadian here its great here. It gots cold for skating,sleding and snowmobiling in the winter and in the summer it great for swimming hikes and what ever you want. We also have some great veiws

Check out "Part of our heritage" commercials from the 90's. Kanata is the word for village in the language of the native tribe they encountered (can't remember which tribe) so the explorers thought they where talking about all the land... hence Canada 🇨🇦

Also The worst province weather wise is Saskatchewan. In the winter the wind chill is below -50 and in the summer it gets to 40 degrees and tornadoes daily

Canada was actually named from when Samuel de Champlain (french explorer) mistook the first nations for saying “kanadaah” which means village for canada and that is how canada was ACTUALLY named (i live in toronto btw)
