Idk if you have plans to, but there is an old detailing trick I learned from my dad is that you can rub olive oil on old faded plastic to bring back the color, won't make it less brittle, but the colors will pop. I can email you a picture of it if you want.

You should get some of those quilted leather door panels. They're super easy to install and look so good in NA miatas. Also, the metal switches for the power windows is a cool touch too. I think the same website sells all that stuff. Then all you'd need is a nice shift knob

Use a blow dryer to preheat your plastic parts and then after you paint with wrinkle finish to keep it warm while drying. You will be really happy with your results.

As silicone cures is releases acetic acid aka pure vinegar. And I'm glad you like the smell because it absolutely kills me.

The tabs broke for my Miata too, just use some 3m tape around the edge and if you need to take it off, use a heat gun

what i lrarned when u do that stuff wit the neddles an puting them back on. it should be done while driving. my nissan hardbody rpm face says 1024 rpm at 60 mph for a accurate reading i learned that had to be done but on this video i like the tool he got to remove the neddles.
