As for the breakup…..People need to remember that Ginny didn’t hear the whole conversation between Max and Marcus, she only heard when Marcus said he didn’t think he could love anyone….and she left right after that. Ginny simply misunderstood, and was already upset just in general. She wasn’t being selfish especially since when Marcus revealed to her that his best friend had died the year before (Sophomore Sleepover episode) Ginny asked if he wanted to talk about it. If Marcus had opened up to her about his mental health, she would’ve been there for him.

Georgia was setting a bad ex,apple for her kids since the moment Ginny realized that they were constantly moving from place to place. Now understandably it’s not that easy to just pack up everything and leave so often but…..Georgia needs to remember that she’s not a teenager anymore, she’s a grown adult…she doesn’t she’s to keep on running, and the more she does it it’s gonna negatively impact Ginny and Austin which clearly it did. Not a lot of people know that parents can pass down their own traumas to their kids “generational trauma” without realizing it, and it manifests in the kids’ behavior hence why Ginny acted the way she did…..even though she’s also a teenager and teens are gonna be bratty, and dramatic regardless. By Georgia not at least trying to face her problems, instead of trying to run away instantly…that teaches Ginny and Austin to do the same, instead of trying to face their problems. You can’t go through life always running, because eventually those problems are gonna catch up to you, and someone’s gonna get hurt or in trouble.

WARNING: VERY LONG COMMENT i have a couple of predictions/theories for season two. i initially thought it was kind of stupid for jesse/gabriel to have georgia arrested for tom with no evidence. he’s been getting increasingly desperate and i think he jumped the gun and there’s no way she’ll be indicted . i also think there’s a 50/50 chance cynthia will sort of be on georgias team next season. georgia killed tom because it was her way to protect cynthia (and zach) and repay her for trying to protect georgia from gil. it wasn’t really her place to play god, but from her perspective she was offering cynthia a boon and trying to save her from the agony of a prolonged death when she had basically already grieved tom. i think that cynthia will either not believe/not want to believe that georgia killed him, or she will piece together what georgia did and surprise us by understanding. they can’t really open an investigation into toms death without doing an autopsy, considering he was literally dying anyway. they would need cynthia’s permission to do that and i’m not entirely sure she’d give it. she would probably be too grief stricken and would vehemently protest them cutting open her freshly dead husband and putting her and zach through all that. my other small prediction is that if they CAN make the charges stick, simone will represent georgia (or at least offer her legal advice. i also suspect that zion knows a bit more about georgia’s darker deeds than we are led to believe (this struck me in the flashback when she shot her pedo step dad in the hand and it turns out zion was waiting for her outside). i don’t know how paul will play into all this. i don’t know if he will believe that georgia did it or if she will open up and tell him in the hope that he will understand her motives. they are married now so they can’t testify against each other with spousal communications. however, the past few episodes have proven that paul isn’t as white bread as we were initially led to believe. he has teeth. he might learn everything and still protect georgia. i’m not sure. i’m also super curious to know nick’s place in all this. if jesse was able to turn him on georgia. i also think it’s a possibility for maddie to return in seasons 3’or 4 or even for georgias mom and stepdad to show up- which would be awful. i’m just not sure there is sufficient evidence to indict her for tom’s murder. it also strikes me as weird that jesse is so dead set on getting her for something: idk if he was lying or not about not being on kenny’s ex wife’s payroll anymore, but either way he is getting way to personally involved and has a definite vendetta against georgia. there is almost no evidence linking her to anthony or kenny so he jumped at the first chance to charge her for tom and i think that will be his downfall.
