He said he didn’t mean to misinform people and he thought his video wouldn’t get much attention even though his previous Elden ring videos got a lot of views. He’s also been speedrunning for eight years and should have known better. I just thought this situation was a little odd

im a casual with a lack of understanding the veracity of a "no hit run", but the moment at 1:21:11 was easy for me to understand it was spliced, its the FP bar before and after burning the sealing tree. i should add, after watching Gino's reaction, i now have a better understanding of spliced runs

I was going to send this to Gino. I watched it yesterday and there's no way you'd be playing like this on a no-hit run.

What baffles me is that the messmer intro cinematic is the perfect time for a splice (since it puts you in a set position and restarts sound). Assuming that he makes a save file, he can do infinite attempts, without messages, bloodstains and audio splices giving him away.

That's what happen when you play for other people (to impress, to brag, or to seek external validation), not playing for yourself. I found that Souls series have quite a lot of players types like this. How maidenless.

I mean imo the views you get for being the worlds first is not worth getting caught for splicing and the permanent damage to your reputation.

Just found out about this drama, and this was incredibly entertaining to watch. I hate that people try to pull this off, but getting run-reviews like this is some primo entertainment. That's one way to get at least something good out of a bad situation. Great commentary.

Run is clearly fake, but the save on rest is just a lower end pc thing.

Bloodfiend is still a beast. Lost some scaling so it lost a little bleed but they didn’t change the poise on it.

I get the save icon on rest 100% of the time, even if I just stand up from the grace and immediately use it again. Always get it. My pc is basically the minimum required specs, maybe its just slower?

Kinda strange because I get the autosave icon (pulses thrice when I sit at the grace and when I close the grace menu too) on pc even though I'm playing offline with mods (fps unlocker and camera fix), but I can't seem to change it based on settings xD

There was another Radahn no hit I saw by someone else that was def using a mod. They seemed to accidentally roll when locked on but they dashed instead of rolling which happens when you use the sekiro mod which also lets you parry. So if you roll when locked on you dash like in Bloodborne. They also tried to pass the parry off as using the new tear but they weren’t the same. I don’t think anyone called him out for it and I didn’t feel qualified enough to but I saw some movement that didn’t make sense and it wasn’t adding up. Seems like a lot of people trying to be the first on this one.

Talisman would be good for the Leda fight. Damage stacks for next kill.

I also figured out the ice guy could fall off just randomly once. Definitely good to script into attempts

Just adding I tested on console ps5 to be specific, while online and I get the saving logo every time I sit at any grace during that black screen. Not sure if that helps at all.

Gino mentioned something about a jump in Castle Ensis that lets you basically skip to the boss door. I can't find anything online about this, does anyone have a video of the skip?

I get that saving icon when I rest at a grace and am online (not sure if it would happen if I was offline) I'm on ps5 though.

I do got elden ring icon every grace and new area, not sure why yours don't. Mine is in HDD if that matters

Gino, if you're playing on Xbox one, and or Xbox series X|S you get an auto save every grace.

Gino I don't know if you know this. But for your run if your planning on getting the spirit spring fragment you don't have to go break the stones. Margits or mohgs shackle will break it open for you

Dude the parts where he sits in a grace bloodstains around him, and when he wakes they're just gone, or vice versa is SOOOO obvious. Just play offline my G, like actual real runners do. The guy is obviously just there for the views, it isn't even a timer running...
