What made it so tragic is that those two old people played pivotal roles in rebuilding their country and yet their simple wish of seeing each other again was close to being left unfulfilled. Sorachi.. goddamit, man. Please don't end Gintama.

Jac k I think it is a nice reason to topple a country. Not for resources, not for some idiotic political reasons, not for some opposite parts fruitless and baseless quarrel but for love. A country who makes it's people sad and seperated from their beloved ones doesn't deserve less than being toppled over.

Japanese warrior back then didn't die even though much wound still stand as long as their enemy is standing. they push to the limit. thats it. you may find it superhuman. com on its anime

A lot of people think that Gintama is just a comedy, but no, it’s more than that, it’s a story about action, drama, sad, love, friendship, and many others, Gintama is definitely my favorite anime, in the level of FmaB, Berserk, Naruto, HxH, Yu Yu hakusho, and Jojo’s, best anime of the year and the century and I don’t know what else

Yeah, anyone could think that Gintama is not that good because it is not popular BUT they couldn't be more wrong. Gintama is a total masterpiece, absolutely one of the *best* shounen ever hence, one of the best piece of fiction I have seen. This arc was a 10/10

Just so u know, I dropped this series like 2-3 times. I get the people who couldn't get past the first couple of episodes. I was in the same boat. But trust me, this series gets so much better. U just have to push through and keep going.

count_the_jams there's never enough Every Arc in Gintama would make a great movie. Next to One Piece, only Gintama makes its Arc a stand alone stories but is still somehow connected to the whole series as a whole.

Every Gintama arc fits perfectly for the movie format. It's because of their quick pace without wasting time, because of that there's always stuff going on at all times and they're always short, perfect for a movie

yes you should ,bit remember first 30 episodes might be a bit boring but after that it will be cool and serious arcs begun after 80 episodes and fro m there it will slowly get get better and better ,and when you have completed the courtesian of a nation arc it will be epic

+kontrol42 It was about Otose and the other three devas ruling over the Kabuki-cho and how the balance they mantained was starting to crumble by the arrival of a certain character. You should watch it, I was literally crying at the ending. It's in Episodes 210-214.
