Giorgio Armani Eye Tint Liquid Shadow Lid Swatches and Review

#ArmaniBeauty's Eye Tints were an OG favorite back in the day when not many brands had liquid/cream eyeshadows. But the shade range was quite limited and most people used them as a light wash or base for powder shadows.
Now they've reformulated the line and updated the textures for versaility. These new colors are split into 3 formulas - Silk, Smoke and Chrome, and can be worn as #eyeshadows, #eyeliners, or even #highlighters depending on the color.

Giorgio Armani has replaced their original Eye Tint liquid shadows with a newer series (24 shades in the US, 14 shades in Singapore) and I have 11 on hand to swatch for you guys. Was a little more challenging than lip swatches but we got it done! I think I've fallen for most of the deeper smokier shades that double up as eyeliners. Which ones caught your eye?

I agree! Shade 37 and 38 has both caught my heart and eye! :p

@@sctan5404 Woot, 2 of my faves! I think those 2 colors are so unique! (And I love how the sparkles in 38 sort of "reveal" themselves after you rub lightly.

@@IamCandiceKC You're right! They are certainly unique but I must confess - what convinced me to check them out was how gorgeous they look on you! But do you think they look equally beautiful on someone who's a bit more tan than you are?

@@sctan5404 I think most of these would actually look great on medium to tan skins. Some of the paler shades actually would stand out and look more dramatic on deeper skin tones while they kinda disappear on light skins. It's more about choosing colors that suit your undertone (e.g. some people with cool and neutral undertones suit blue-greens and greys while people with warm skin tones suit golds and coppers more). It's not always affected too much by how pale or tan you or the shadow is!

As it seemed easy to put on, I bought 27 yesterday and it’s my first eyeshadow ever. Yet I needed someone to explain me how to put it on so your video was just what I was looking for, thanks so much! And your eyes are so beautiful btw!

Thanks so much Alice!! I'm glad it helped! Yeah it takes a little getting used to but once you get used to working with it, these liquid shadows are really long-wearing and low maintenance! Enjoy!!

Very welcome - and thanks for watching!! Woo, I love 27 too, and I don't even usually love pink shadows hahaha. But 27 just has some nice sort of bronzey-neutral warm tones in there so it looks more grown-up.

These look great! Especially 22 and 38. I'm going to try at least one of them. Liquid eye shadows are great in the Florida heat. Thanks for the eye swatches!

Let me know if you decide to pick one up! I was actually surprised by 22 because I wasn't expecting that nice warm burnt orange brown. The "satiny-matte" shades looked so blah in the tube but so flattering and easy to apply. And for a quick "swipe and go" product that locks down in humidity, it actually makes sense to pick up that sort of a daily color!

Hi Lizzy, I personally would pick 23 as it's softer and more "easy" to blend without looking patchy when you're in a rush, but some people may find it more basic or boring as it's matte and has no shimmer. 10 is more dramatic cos it's deeper and takes a bit more effort to blend. It really depends which you prefer! Simple and subtle (23) or smoky and sexy (10)!

Hi Audery, I'm usually a B20 (Chanel), 020 or 021 for Dior, 120/128 for Maybelline, N2 for MAC.

Hahahaha I know right? They really did a nice spread of soft satiny shades for subtle days and super dramatic ones as well. So I have faves in all 3 different finishes.

Hi thanks for flagging that!! I had an issue with a backup track and had to replace bits of the music in the background, but it seems like KZfaq Studio has replaced all the talking parts as well *facepalm*. I'll try to get it fixed quickly. Thanks for letting me know!
