Senso is the prettiest, imo. I wouldn’t use up any eye product in six months, as I rarely wear shadow lately. So I’ll pass. It was so sweet that you reminded us to be careful with our eyes. So true! Thank you, Lexi, and I hope your daughter gets well soon. xx

I have deep set, hooded, oily lids and was seriously impressed with the LE liquid eyeshadows. So I think I’m really going to love an Armani or Violette FR! The shimmer colors of the violette are very enticing!

Thanks for this video Lexi. I haven’t had much luck with liquid eye shadows. I tried and tossed the Chanel ones and I’m not loving the Lisa Eldridge ones either. I have not yet tried the Armani or the Violette FR but thx to some of your earlier videos, I have become a HUGE Violette FR fan, especially the Bisou Balm and I’m also enjoying her blush sticks. I might give her liquid eyes a try at some point. I have Sahara like dry skin, but my eyelids crease everything even tho they are dry and not really oily. I always have to wear an eye base/primer. Thanks again! Love your blouse/dress! Hope your daughter is feeling better!! ❤

I've ben using these for years. I apply a thin coat of one color of the product all over, then add a powder in the crease and for liner, and they last all day. I like the sheerness and thin application. Haven't tried the Violette FR. These don't crease on me, but then again I don't have oil on my eyelids. Plus I am still using the old shimmer finish, which appears to be the same formula. Maybe that helps longevity. Thanks for the video. 💚

Thanks Lexi! I recently decluttered the Armani liquid shadows because they were old but they’ve always been my favorite liquid base for a quick neutral eye. I haven’t tried Violette Fr but I may just buy the Armani’s again. I’ve not liked the Chanel and the LE were just ok. I tend to reach for a Chantecaille Mermaid when I want a quick one and done eye.

I really like the Chantecaille Mermaid shadows too - those are a great drier cream product. It would be nice to see them add more shades to that line.

This is my favorite formula, but I have not tried the Violette FR. I’m curious to try the new formulation. You selected my three favorite colors. Thanks for another great review! I hope that you child is feeling better. I’ve always thought that “copper” was an odd name for the taupe/brown in Cold Copper.

Hi Lexi - how lovely to be here first! Really enjoyed your video and I like the look of the Armani but I'm thinking with my light olive/sallow complexion they may be a bit too warm/orangey. The Violette looks like a nice formula but perhaps too strong in colour for me although there was one you swatched that looked like it had a greenish hue which was interesting. I heard so many differing things about those Chanel liquid shadows and it's such a shame they are so 'hit and miss' atm. I might like to try a liquid shadow - you do have to work quite quickly though so might require some practice on my part! Thank you for an enjoyable review and may I say how pretty your blouse was! 😊

Thank you Annie! The Violette_FR has a beautiful green/gold shade if you want something with more punch. It's my favorite - scarabee d'or. But it is not subtle, lol. Armani may have some shades that you prefer but it's always so hard to tell online. Thankfully they were just added to the nordstrom site so hopefully they will be in store soon.

@@LexiJong Ah that's interesting - I often use a stronger shade just as a liner so that might be a nice way to enjoy the colour. Yes I do find shades online are so unpredictable. I am in the UK so not sure where Armani is available especially if it's only just available but will take a look. Thank you Lexi 😊

Thanks for the review. I am actually loving the new formula. Specially the Matt ones. I wore the burgundy matt shade and was out on the City on a cold and windy day. And it lasted so so well. I went and bought two more shades lol the black is amazing too. And the formula is so beautiful

Thank you Sonia! I have three of the Sisley ones and they are in my declutter pile. The formula is very hit or miss but overall I found them to be inconsistent and patchy. They have a great feeling/texture to them which is similar to the Armani but they just don't perform as well. I personally don't like the Sisley because some shades perform well but others are patchy. I also had mild creasing with Sisley but not with Armani. Lisa held up similarly to Sisley but were smoother and less patchy, at least with the shades I have tried in both brands.

When they first launched, many years ago, no 9 Cold Cooper was my favorite cream shadow, they’ve been reformulated a few times since and those were terrible! Just got no 46 Halo in the new formulation and it’s great, not as good as the original formula, but still a great cream shadow

Very good video, thanks so much dear Lexi, all the swatches also!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩Good to mention the expiration date/time as our eyes are precious indeed!👍👍👍👍👍👍I still have enough, having a few of Lisa Eldridge (not over the moon with them) i have a few new Hindash shades, when prepping my eyes extra, i CAN handle them on the eyes as well, and they're great!! And ordered and received the Violette FR that you recommended in a longer ago video! Could not try yet, will soon i hope, had some health stuff. Chanel liquid shadow, not for me, Sysley, terrible, but that's just me, i want a product to work for me and not working for the product, i'm not an MUA, just another makeup lover! Armani, i tried the previous formulation, was not happy. But, listened very well also to the last part of the video, the health of the eyes, and of course when thing expire, that counts for all cream/liquid goods! I am curious about the Hindash shadows. I really like the texture of his highlighter product but I wasn't drawn to this first batch of colors. I would love to see more of these in some cooler shades. Hindash, i first extra prep my eyes with Clinique All About Eyes Rich (easier formula than Chantecaille for this purpose), than the Carve shade above my eyes i love the most, that's my favorite, but that is just me! How can we tell which ones are the reformulated ones on websites? Is it just the new colors? I have the 8 and two others where I love the color but the formula is kind of picky. I noticed that I cant layer it or build it up without it wanting to come back off. So I use thinnest layer possible. Im really interested in their darker shimmers like the purple. Those are colors I don’t use in powder form, for fear of transfer or fallout. So it would be great if they have improved upon that. Maybe I missed it in your review? I am half asleep 😴 Love love love Armani just in general. I think they are kind enough to remember the mature woman when formulating products. Thanks for the review Lexi 🌸

Honestly, I am not sure how to tell online. By now, they should have the new ones available and the older ones pulled but you never really know until it arrives. I do not experience fallout or transfer with these after you let them set. They are really easy to use.

You might be able to get a trial size sometime. I know last week Armani had one included as part of a gwp.

I don't know Armani very well apart from foundation/concealer, but I like the idea of these Eye Tints. However, I'm guessing lots of product is wasted with that type of container. I really need one-and-done eye shadows during the working week, but I'll will stick CT Eyes To Mesmerise creams (I have 6). They are pretty much creaseproof and long wearing if I start higher than my eye-crease and use what's left on the lid, plus I can get every last bit out with a brush. If Armani did a sheer light metallic/shimmer olive-y-green-grey I may be tempted 😀

I completely understand! I prefer cream pots for similar reasons too but I love using liquids as a base / primer. The CT eyes to mesmerize are truly a great product!

@@drnono3386 check out Oxidized Olive and Velvet Leaf from Phytosurgence. Those are the closest I can think of. They are a drier cream formula in a pot.
