Who should explain to the people of India that small children are not taken everywhere. Too much annoying. What's wrong with forest officials , I won't be surprised if they will allow pregnant women and in the mid of jungle , with loud voice the new baby will born and his/her name will be gir/sasan.

for those who gave negative comments about a baby, first I would like to tell you that there was no history of Gir lions attacking safari tourists. Why they don't attack I will explain below. This does not mean I am encouraging parents to carry their kids. No. They could have opt for a bus tour but they preferred open top jeep. Government authorized safari shouldn't allow them(when there are kids) but there are no such rules yet. Also keeping the clean record in mind maybe they are allowing which must be strictly restricted. the reason the Lions don't attack, they see humans everyday in that forest. because Gir forest is also inhabitant to humans and one would see villages and we can see people roaming around without fear who goes on safari tour. Lion do attack their cattle often and rarely villagers. Villagers refused to evacuate when Government planned a rehabilitation for them. Though King of the Jungle maintains some dignity, better humans also must maintain more dignity for their protection.

Just becoz Gir lions dont attack humans , they are using this advantage to harass and play with them . Gir lions dont attack becoz they are treated as dogs by the humans and they look humans as their pet ....some guy said like that

Buddy, as an animal lover, I know how animals will behave. Specially Lions. Lions called king of Jungle because of it's dignified behavior. not because it is ferocious and strong. I am not saying they say hi hello to humans. no, But what I am saying was Gir forest is also inhabitant to humans and both Lions and Humans respect each other. Noting wrong with the Guide's reaction when baby is crying. As babies cry for a reason, it's not easy to comfort them sometimes. Plus never think in such a way that it(crying) annoys lion. no it didn't. in that particular incident I was referring to. Like I said before, Humans are not new to Lions in Gir. Be it Gir inhabitants or the tourists to Gir. As the animal nature is very unpredictable, I have also suggested in my comment that, the parents who carrying kids must opt for safe closed vehicle during safari. as far as I am concern, no one was irresponsible in that video. one should enjoy the Lions in that video. it's not a good thing to criticize parents unnecessarily. Just imagine yourself as a parent in their place. Instead of enjoying the video by watching lions, people simply turned their attention on Humans. Video was clearly about Lions. not about humans. if possible do visit such a beautiful place and tourists are not fortunate to have a glimpse of Lions whenever they visit.

@@suhasdwarakanath4877 I don't know if it was you or really someone said that. But as far as I know, In any reserve forest in Bhaarath, we are not treating them as Dogs. Not even in zoos. Name one zoo which at least organizing any show like circus with lions, tigers or panthers or with any animal. none right? then how come someone say that, that animals are being treated as dogs. That too in open forest. is that even possible? Glad that people of Bhaarath respect every creature on earth. Thats our culture.Though we have such kind staff who have/can control over animal in zoos, be it a caretaker, zoo keeper or a veterinary doctor yet our Government(Governments) never ill treated animals with shows like circus in zoos.
