Poachers hunt them for bush meat, humans encroach on their natural habitat and, exacerbating all of this, the Horn of Africa is having its worst drought in 40 years. Wow...all black hosts...WONDERFUL ! Encore ! Yes ~ Giraffe Manor is AMAZING. Was SO blessed to go in August 2017 & it is expensive ...but worth every single penny & when you are helping a species survive & thrive ...you are making it a BETTER WORLD by having the experience. The manor houses are just exquisite !

For size & strength Gentle Giants is a term reserved for elephants in Kenya atleast, no offense or prejudice whatsoever to giraffe conservation, if it helps.
