actually there are consequences (all the cats that helped the protagonist in the end couldn't go back to their human form), she was still very young and still had time to change and not make the same mistakes

Honestly.... if it had been me.... I'd have stayed a cat.... But then again, that's just me. Loved A Whisker Away. Mio was definitely a crack head. A little too energetic for me, but again! She was becoming a cat which are known for their boundless energy and short attention span

Tbh I never found this movie romantic at all. It is obvious that she had family issues and the only way to vent was when she turned into a cat and start hanging with her crush. I found her annoying because he was not interested in her and she kept stalking and confessing as if he will change his mind.

Mid movie at best. The only memorable scene is when dude said he hated her. Kinda felt like the movie started at the half way point. Like you missed the first half the movie. Ill give it props tho for being a made for netflix Anime it wasn’t horrible.
