This is just me: Whenever I meet a new guy, I automatically treat him as just a friend. I try not to crush over a guy just cuz he’s cute until I get to know them. I try to get to know them as friends to see if there can potentially be something there later on. Some people are better off just as friends. If I find out he likes some other girl, I’m automatically not interested, heck I’ll even be his wing girl 😂 I’m genuinely their friend, and on some occasions that has gotten them interested in me, and by then I’ve gotten to know them enough to know if they’ll a good partner or not. If the guy likes me and I like him, then I'm open and he knows it because I've confirmed it with him by communication. I think sometimes what comes off as 'pride' is actual our insecurities. Adrienne has spoken before about how prideful she is and I can see that she might go for guys that already like her because she won't have to deal with rejection. I do relate to her but I'm trying to become more like Jeannie. Go for what you want and be yourself. IF you get rejected that's fine, at least you tried. Also, sometimes when you do get rejected by the person you wanted, you realize that you didn't really like them but maybe what they represented. Get out of your comfort zone.
