As women we’re taught to compete with each other. That our only value can be found in receiving attention from men. I swear, I felt like everyone of these beautiful women spoke to me personally while I was watching this. I am a 22 yr-old gay man (college student) who honestly feels judged for my looks by my community and society in general. Cus I'm too short, I got patchy facial hair, and I'm chubby. I am currently doing some personal soul-searching, and I found this video at the perfect moment in my life. I honestly can be very catty and negative and I use it as a front and as defense mechanism because I am also unwilling to express my true emotions for fear that my masculinity will be discredited even more than it already is. Tamera told me to start loving myself and to also start loving others. Jeanie told me to have an ambition and work for my goals because its more important than looks. Loni told me that beauty and looks are way too focused on in today's society and we normalize the fact that we judge each others so often and thats not right. and Adrienne said focus on your character; and she's right cus filters help me out ALOT with my selfies but i can't use a filter on this ugly ass attitude i got. They all just helped me out so much right now. This is why I watch them. Different perspectives rarely seen in the media until current years; these ladies are a blessing. Love them.

The Real production team KNOW what they’re doing. They think they’re SLICK. They reposted this OLD clip from 1-2 years ago to make people feel sorry for Loni Love. I ain’t FALLING for it. Loni, TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY! You swear you’re right on everything.

Bill Cosmo instead of advising Loni Love to take ownership for doing exactly what she (ironically) hates and condemns -RE the Shan Boody disrespect recently -they run this clip. What are the objectives of The Real producers?

Loni made a good point about watch your response because you never know who you’re clapping back to.I control my comments by picking and choosing the stories I comment on.I do that because if it’s a story about a particular rapper, singer or entertainer that may have a younger following I don’t comment.Thats when you may get a very disrespectful clapback to a comment you may leave. And yes many of you younger commenters love to mention peoples ages and call them old or making age related comments to demean.Social media is for everyone not just the young and we should be respectful of everyone regardless of age, race etc. Thanks Adrienne! I was thinking that when she said that about a college degree.I say this all the time.GREAT CONVERSATION!!!!!!!!

I hate when people are just mean and are a bully to them, especially when it’s to Loni and are about looks.

Ikr Especially Tamar and Kmichelle. I also dontlike that Loni doesnt come up for herself. She laughs it off, to keep it light, but she should have shut them down.

Then she shouldn't have done it to others. Victims bullying others for their looks, ethnicities, etc. are wrong too. e.g. Shannon Boodram is multiracial and can claim any or all ethnicities

I loved what Adrienne pointed out. A good heart really does go a long way and I think it’s worth building your career around your character strengths if you’re able to. It’s a beautiful thing. I understand what it feels like to have nothing to offer career wise but the only reason I stepped into the medical field was because I started caring for the residents and didn’t like feeling useless. The medical field was never my dream job but it’s slowly becoming part of it because I’m finding a new love of wanting to properly take care of others and allowing God to take the best of me and pour it into my work. ❤❤❤❤ May God forgive and bless us all so we can love ourselves and not be so quick to attack other people.

Everyone on this panel has hurt others with words at some point. Who on this Earth hasn't ? The commenters do it the most infact. Commenters aren't held accountable the way these lovely hosts are. Commenters make Tamera so white jokes etc. and no one demands apologies from them or attacks them. I'm sure the ladies have cried over some of the wicked things commenters say about their looks and weight but they stay professional and focus on the positives in order to keep entertaining us.

@@chileshekalela2872 She just said something about Shan Boodram the other day. I find it ironic that they chose to upload this OLD segment right after the backlash from the Shan incident the other day.

@@mairahmanzini2928 That's why the Bible says to CONTROL YOUR TONGUE. We have TWO ears to listen with and ONE mouth for that reason! We should LISTEN and THINK before we open our mouths to make comments. Our tongue should be used to UPLIFT and not to tear DOWN.

Class v Crass. What you like in others is a reflection of what you like or would like in you. What you hate in others is what you hate about yourself. We are mirrors for each other. Do your inner work and let your light shine. You are Beautiful, You are Intelligent, You are Joy, You are Confident, You are Courageous, You are a Work in Progress, You are Enough, You are Strong, You are Kind, You are Not a Mistake. You have Purpose, You are Compassion, You are Light, You are Love, You are a Blessing. ❤💙💚💛💜

Loni, I get what you’re saying. Vanity has rippled through our generation. So many people glorify superficiality. Like you said, looks are now everything instead of character. Social media has created unrealistic standards that women are striving to attain. No make up and natural hair is still and very much okay, please. Be yourself and enjoy it.
