You are right on the money with the Goodfellas scene. After the Lufthansa heist Jimmy Burke went on a murder rampage killing everyone that worked the job. He had Paul Vario's blessing because this meant that there was less of a chance anyone would talk to the feds, and more importantly it meant they had to give out less shares, more money for them. Once Henry Hill got picked up on the drug charges they felt he was a threat because even though he did not take part in the airline heist he put all the players in touch with each other, and knew the details. Not only he was under threat of being clipped because of the drug bust, but they knew he could write his own ticket with the feds if he gave them the details of that heist so they had decided he and his wife had to go. That scene was not a planned ambush for Karen though. She had called Jimmy Burke wanting to talk to him to talk about Henry right away. Jimmy figured this was a good opportunity. Grab Karen, and have Henry come to her then they would them together to take out of the scene. Thankfully Karen was smart enough not to get trapped.

It was most definitely a set up. I think Scorsese set it up to have a little bit of ambiguity so you really feel the Paranoia and impending downfall/hopelessness Henry Hill was experiencing at the time. I don’t know, I’m not the guy. But, it works tho.

Jimmy Burke tried grabbing Karen with the hopes of luring Henry to a trap where they both would have been killed. Even before the drug bust Paul Vario and Jimmy Burke had discussed killing Henry. Burke worried Henry might ask for a bigger cut of the Lufthansa heist since all the other players were dead, and they both worried about Henry going to the feds. The last time Henry had been in prison Paul Vario raped Karen, and they also were concerned because Henry was becoming unstable due to his drug abuse.

Rear Ended by the fools who were looking at their phones. There wasn't even attempts to break on their part = 3 totalled cars. The hits hurled me through the intersection and on one case, into the back of the car in front of me (that was also stopped at the same light). Every single driver that rear-ended me tried to tell the police that I slammed my breaks, trying to cause the accident to get the insurance, and one told the police I put my car in reverse and slammed into them!! Idiots!!

I definitely agree with this, I had a hand made axe that the handle got jacked up by a dude missing too much and as I was away from camp when it happened they didnt wanna tell me until the morning, they didnt offer to pay for the handle either, keep in mind this isnt a expensive handle like 40$, problem was its a foreign made product so I have to wait until the part gets handmade and THEN wait till it gets to a importer close enough to ship to America, it legit took almost a year for me to be able to get a new handle, and I wouldnt have let the dude pay for it, Im not worried about 40$ personally if its a one time screw up, but offer at least, if it was me that broke it and it was someone elses as soon as I can imma talk to them and offer to fix it (I have done this many times), but trying to hide it and not offering to fix it makes it very hard to show any trust in that person

I like the cutting compounds made by meguiars. Unfortunately I cannot buy just "a drop" as you say. Instead I buy a $23 bottle. Freezing the screen and looking at the scratch it appears to me she is past the clear coat in spots so best case is the scratch could be lightened.

Compound and buffing - would be inconvenient - but would reduce this a lot. The more important thing is that the drunk girl hit the car with her keys - that we heard - and definitely could have been the cause of the damage. Without direct evidence and with any or either party willing to lie about things you just can't resolve matters.

Horrible example to set for his kid too. Kid just learned that grown men don't take responsibility for their actions (or the actions of their kids).

They always deny and deflect. 10 years ago, a man who was clearly high or drunk hit my car on a narrow street. I saw him coming before the accident, pulled over to my side more and slowed down to almost a stop. He hit my car, got out and immediately says "You came around that corner so fast", denying all fault. Burden of proof is on the accuser not on the accused..... Especially women who lie all the time, shouldn't be believed at all unless they have solid proofs.......... secondly, In men vs women matters, women are always in the wrong and it is literally a fact........

I was once one of those drunk clients. Uber would usually cost like triple the price for a normal run. So it has it's advantages

@@migatocomeoscuridad yeah. Things like that just happen. That’s me so no shade at this Uber Driver! Part of automobile ownership and usage is that these things just happen and they happen more on Friday and Saturday nights! I suspect this young lady being drunk was simply weaseling out of something she knows she probably did. But she’s drunk so why admit it? It’s shameful but not terrible but when confronted she reached into a bag of dirty tricks to hit back with. It could have gotten really ugly. In situations like this? one can over react AND under react. Once he goes there? Backing down might have empowered her to keep making bogus counter accusations. It’s the same reason you don’t run from a bear in the woods. And these Uber drivers deserve respect. They do not make a lot of money and some of us are total A-Holes.

@@justlook.productions It’s also possible that in her drunken state she genuinely didn’t believe she caused that scratch. And there’s even a small chance that she actually _didn’t_ cause that scratch and that he was legitimately mistaken. I don’t think she behaved very badly for a drunk person. She said she’d take responsibility and then it occurred to me that I wasn’t quite sure what he even wanted from her at that point.

@@AddBowIfGirl yup. All those things are possible. This ended well enough and stuff happens. I don’t think these uber drivers are paid enough for the wear and tear and scratches that come with normal driving and usage of an automobile. So no shade at this driver for being protective of his car. I just learned a long time ago one day when my mom was driving us and she had to slam on the breaks to avoid hitting this man’s car and still hit him but not too badly. The nice nice man gets out of the car and asks if we are okay. He is friendly and smiling. He looks at both cars and says it looks like the bumpers took care of it. He smiled, shrugged and got back in and drove off. If you are still reading (as I doubt so there is no harm), my mom had a story about how her friend let her door touch the side of a black Mercedes and this man comes running and yelling about how careless she was and to inspect the “damages.” My mom’s bad ass friend continues getting into her car but before closing her door and driving off says to the man, “that’s a really nice car mister. But you can’t really afford it can you?” Boom! Anyway. Thanks for the reply to my comment. ✌️❤️👍

If she died its vehicular manslaughter if not she could press charges if he hit her or get insurance or wtv but the guy that commented said that cause she said the scratch was already there

The original comment is saying that he ran over her, but another car already ran her over before, so he wouldn’t be guilty of murder.
