The stylists for them are definitely contributing to people thinking they are “chubby.” They put them in skirts or shorts that are so high waisted and cut into their torsos. Minah has a body where cutting it up with two pieces disrupts her bodyline, making her appear bulkier in the torso. They should really stick with tailored bodycon dresses that are sewn to flatter the individual members bodies.

the thing with minah is she also has a shorter torso than the other girls in girls day and her stylists haven't been the most aware of how to style her properly so even though she's never been even remotely chubby or close to overweight, her costumes don't compliment her figure as well as they could.

@@TheRzabcia by not using full skirts as they make hips look more wide, higher waisted shorts so the band doesn't sit on the fullest part of the body, crop tops that sit above the waist (many of hers were not tailored for that and cut her body awkwardly).

@@TheRzabcia a good comparison is if you look at Yeri's Psycho outfit from fancams (the black and white checkered crop top one) vs her Bad Boy outfit from MCountdown. First one is styled properly as Yeri also has a shorter torso whereas her Bad Boy outfit the pants are too low and the shirt crease where it's tucked in sits wierdly because it's not where the narrowest part of her waist is. Hence the styling makes her look boxy rather than sleek. I also myself have a shorter torso so these are things I had to learn when styling myself in general clothing.

Minah seems to be struggling the most out of her members to decide what her next move should be after Girls Day, She's got a nice voice but it doesn't look like she's getting much singing opportunities so she's focusing on her figure for landing dramas and possible sponsors.

I really liked Minah in My Beautiful Gong Shim! For me, her acting was really likeable and relatable. I'm usually skeptical when idols act but she's really good. Sad thing that My Absolute Boyfriend didn't do well. I dropped watching it though, acting was great but the story was something I couldn't handle. Hopefully, I'd see Minah through dramas too! Fighting!

It breaks my heart that the stuff she's doing now doesn't seem to be recieved well given how sweet and talented she is, I feel like she must think she was most successful skinny (during something) so she might be so skinny now as an attempt to bring that back? Also I would love if you did videos on oh my girls seunghee and arin. Seunghee keeps getting thinner and I know she mentioned an incredibly unhealthy diet to get there, and arin got REALLY skinny during secret garden, and she's been kind of on and off since.

Does anyone else think this could be a similar situation to Hitomi from izone, everyone loves her for her chubby cheeks and overall cute appearance but maybe she also doesn’t like it and would rather come off as mature so she lost so much weight to lose the fat in the face but it turned into an extreme diet and left her boney and sickly? I do know this channel is doing a video on hitomi but just thought it was something to bring up while watching this. Hope she’s ok though and can find confidence in the future.

Please do a video about SNSD's Yoona when you have chance. She is always been thin but you can see SM sometimes put her at her limit, she had one of the craziest agenda in kpop in 2010-2014 while filming doramas/movies and promoting and touring with SNSD. She went from a health and thin body to a very boney that time, she looks healthier nowadays since that she only focus in her acting career.

All members have gained a bit since Uh-Oh era exept Miyeon who lost so much weight that really scarred me. But Minnie maintained while Yuqi got really heavy in Lion era. Now Yuqi lost a FREAKING lot of weight for Oh my God comeback and Minnie too. Both are almost as thin as in Hann era. While Shuhua who was very very thin and stable suddenly gained a lot.

I’m surprised you didn’t bring this video up kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nNedfc2nnM_aiZ8.html I couldn’t find translations but their are purposefully showing unflattering pictures of her and she seemed embarrassed but trying to act like she was okay with it. She has the type of body where her weight pools in her stomach but her legs stay pretty slim (similar to Tiffany and Yeri) and That is considered the least attractive body type in SK. The stylist didn’t help either because the outfits looked good on the other girls but were really unflattering on Minah.

2016 I think. It was a success and she won an excellency award in acting. Ratings were really good too. In 2013 she received the Rookie Actress Award at the Gwangju International Film Festival for her performance in the movie Holly.
