Here is another No GI match from Grand Prix Grappling in Houston a few months ago. I won with an armbar :)

Here the woman managed to do an extraordinary thing because she was blocked but then she freed herself and it was she who blocked him in mado who could not free herself.

She’s def got some skills. She was constantly attacking. That belly down arm bar transition to triangle was sweet. I thought she could have finished it there. The boy was tough for defending everything but she was better. Nice job!

Aeri Osha - I watched a few more of your matches. You seem to catch a bunch of triangles from closed guard (if I remember right) but it looks like a position where your legs are up in the air and the opponent is trying to start to pass. It looks like you use one leg to off balance him and while he is posting you throw your other leg to catch the triangle. Did I describe that right? Is that how you are catching some of these triangles? Seems like they’re coming out of nowhere. Lol

I definitely like to attack when they start to pass. I'm usually looking for them to post a hand on me or the mat. I also catch them when they reach back to try to push one of my knees to the mat.

1:10 not sure about the hand position exactly but in this position the hips must push through and create the lock for breaking pressure (Hip thrusts in the gym will make you deadly in this position). Lock the knees behind the head and cross the feet which no longer need to be on the ground as your knees and his head should make the post, from the knees extend the hips through and arch the back some but keep your head forward next to his locked arm then.... tap or snap. Please see cerrone vs mike perry for a recent example although cowboy raised his head which he could get away with then.

i didn't know girls can fight against boy in competition, is there an age limit?

Girls and boys till the age of 10 are equal in strength. From 10 - 12 girls become physically stronger than the boys till the boys testosterone levels go up high from 12+ and basically start becoming stronger and bigger. In case you didn't know, a man's strength keeps increasing up till the age of 32 not by a lot but it's noticable. I'm 29 now and I can tell that I'm stronger since back to when I was 18 . So don't be surprised when you see girls easily defeating boys at young ages. And I believe that's the reason that they don't have gender classes at this ages as well. Now about the age I think they should have a limit, since a girl of let's say 12 can easily overpowered either a boy or a girl that's below 10 years old.

Aeri, your coach very often tells you to use your feet. And it's amazing how you do it. When Aeri catches a male opponent using her feet, he's always in trouble. This guy is good but she totally overwhelmed him

Not when your practicing or doing a competition. But jiu jits u is a self defence. So if some bad guy come and start hurting you or choking then you can hit kick punch
