I have a friend she’s my best friend and yeah that fourth one describes her perfectly she doesn’t force me to do anything but it’s always a hype vibe but I truly love her it’s just too much all the time

Last year I let a “friend “move in my home with me my husband and my son. Her energy was so toxic and she had a jealous spirit. I didn’t listen to my intuition the day I picked her up from the train station. Within 3 weeks of her being here I had lost 3 dance contracts and a modeling contract because of her. She would sit outside my room door while me and my hubby fuck and giggle like a petty child or make comments like “ooh I wish that was me” Me and my husband was getting into it all the time cuz of her and we ain’t that couple!! I even offered her a piece of my business.This caused me so much stress and depression Because I tried everything to uplift her while she did slick, passive shit to tear me down. I finally stopped trying to pacify the situation and gave her an eviction notice. I got another “friend” who I ONLY hear from when it’s some drama!! She has NEVER supported any of my business ventures! She has never came to any performance or fashion show I’ve ever done and we’ve been friends for over 12 years. I love her and I’ve put distance between us but she’s used to popping in and out on me when it’s convenient for her. I know I need to end this cycle but im her kids God Mom and I know she’s been through a lot so it’s guilt and the love I have for her that’s been preventing me from cutting her off.😩. My brother and sister, just TOXIC ASF!! But that’s my blood and it’s been tough letting them go.

My ex bestfriend of 15 years was very envious. Once I cut her off my life started to glow hunny God is good hunny. We have mutual friends and every time I enter the room her energy shifts; Why do I have that much power over you to shift your mood.

Yes mam! He used to always compare how much money I got to his bank...and how nice my car was.... how nice my house was. Once I cut him out I lost 20lb and my spirit is so much lighter!!!!

💯💯💯💯 It’s tough cutting off the ones you love but you have to choose yourself first! Everything you said was on point! I’m STILL dealing with the process of identifying and cutting off TOXIC friends/Family! It got a easier once I started to heal myself and recognize the trauma bonds I had with people and then I realized outside of that trauma bond I didn’t really like who they were as a person and no longer wanted anything to do with em🤷🏾‍♀️

You are so right, I'm 54 yrs old and this is all right. 30 yrs ago my best friend was the sweetest woman ever but when we would go out she would drink .she was a mean drunk. Here I really don't drink maybe I was a one drink sipper. anyway, she was so mean and loud just embarrassing to be out with. I quit my job and we parted ways. All that was uncalled for period. She would apologize over and over she knew what she had done. I mean I have been drunk I never was like her. So people like that know they're being embarrassing. They can stop if they wanna.

I had a person who I considered my best friend we had our ups and down, but when I got engaged it was my wake up call. I was excited and told my “best friend” the news and and the first thing she said was not omg gurl congratulations or let me know if I can help... the first thing she said was please don’t ask me to help with you the planning but I’ll come to the wedding. Call me petty but I would not do that if the roles were divorce.

I would also say a "friend" who doesn't wanna help you grow, especially if they have the knowledge on something you're trying to achieve. Some people are quick to call everyone their friend. I categorize folks into 3 general groups: real friends, acquaintances/ associates and people I'm just cool with. Sometimes we try to force a square peg into a round hole giving somebody from category 'c' benefits and expectations of somebody in category 'a'.

Girl. So in 2017 was the year i cut off all toxic friends. Baby, its not worth it. Currently working on getting rid of toxic family. Yes i cut off my mother, a sister, a brother, moms family, dad's family. They aint shit. Me and,My kids and my businesses are my life.. My kids are my cheerleaders and #1fans. U are who u hang around. Fine business minded ppl like u who have the same goals and determination as you.

I congratulated my friend on her success. She kept talking about what she doing and how much money she spending on what she doing...i felt like she was rubbing her success in my face. I was down and out. Needing a job. Mind u ive been down the job road with her more than once. She would have me quit a job and to work somewhere with her to car pool. Then she would quit that job and leave me hanging and make promises to me and change up. How about when i encouraged her or asked her to ask me for my input on her business, she would flake up like she didnt want my input. If im happy 4 my friend and showing her im there 4 her and she dismiss me

This year alone I cut off two friends .. one because of jealousy as in she literally told me about posting my food and job and that she didn’t like my bf because he take up my time and I take long to respond to her messages .. the second is because she always comes with drama it literally surrounds her and she feeds off of it and that is too much for me and my peaceful life
