Girls thighs, especially for trained girls, are extremely powerful. When we organise amateur grappling matches in my Moscow gym, we tell hesitant girls (who have not done this before) before the match "just put him/her between your legs and finish him/her". A 16 year old girl was able to defeat a 24 yo man by wrapping her legs around his torso and forcing him to scream in pain and submit. The girl, herself, was surprised that she won! Girl vs boy? How do they level that? Surely not same belt and weight division - are the girls always a belt or two higher or a weight division higher or what?

They dont need to "level that" at her age. Of course as adults men are stronger but at her age this girl amanda has had no problem beating boys. Girls are more flexable, pay better attention in class, and pick up bjj skill faster than many boys.
