I dont get it. What is a win there? Did they have to get a submission? Because if it was wrestling she was lying on her back for quite a while.
@carloscruz46348 жыл бұрын
+cassius969 It says NAGA which is North American Grappling Association. Not wrestling rules.

So how is the wrestler meant to win? Is this a bjj match? Pretty good idea to get better.

You know what's the secret about the guard? Don't get into it. In the real, she could had gotten body slammed at least twice. In the real, the dominate position is the top. He could rain punches down on her that would had made her at least think twice about a move. But, I do understand about preparation. Good on her, she was prepared and always be prepared for the worst. congratulations to both of them. I just see things from a self defense view.

Really nice job from a girl, but the guy could smash her to the ground from 20 sec. She could never resist such a hard fall. Nice job tho.

This is in no way real combat, in a street fight he could easily destroy her given that there would be no rules . I don’t give a damn how much technique she has ,his strength and will would destroy her. Too many simps out there today that underestimate good ole fashion brute strength and power trust me it still damn well works !

Good for her... But was this supposed to be a BJJ match? So if the guy knows the rules and concepts of BJJ, then cool.... But if this was supposed to just be a straight up wrestler against BJJ, then this doesn't make any sense. The whole crux of wrestling is not exposing your back to the mat.

***** This is more skill then a real fight. Here the man's strength is not getting him the advantage over her skill. Clearly she deserved the win :)
@giantfugu9 жыл бұрын
UCTV! yeh... only because the rules gives her technique and advantage over his strength... I'm not hating on BJJ. I love it. But hanging onto someone in closed guard after they've picked you up like is not proper skill/technique. If that rule wasn't in place and she hung on, then she would have seriously been injured. She definitely deserved the win but this doesn't prove anything about the balance between his strength and her skill.
@ManicParroT9 жыл бұрын
UCTV! Sorry, but in a context with slams he'd obviously have crushed her. She won under BJJ rules, but she had to rely on BJJ rules to protect her from his superior strength.

***** Well since it is a BJJ competition very well known(NAGA) I would assume anyone watching it knows it's not a street fight and that it has rules to keep the competitors safe. Right? Or do you have a reason to think this was a street fight with no rules?
