I may be living under a rock, but I only heard of Girlactik recently because a subscriber told me to try their Jello Gloss Balm. It was love at first swipe, and now I'm hooked on several of their products! And in case it's not clear - this is not sponsored and the brand didn't ask me to film this video. Girlactik became popular during the matte liquid lipstick phase/trend. Well, maybe they were popular before that but that's when I heard about them. I always wanted to try their brand but they're kind of expensive to me and no free shipping unless you buy a lot. I actually forgot about them over the years until you brought them up recently.

I loooooooove the Jello gloss balms! I have 5 of them now. And I want the rest. And I love the lip liners, too. Oh, and I also received the dewy skin gloss duo as a GWP, and I love it. It is such a slick, wet highlight, and I especially loved it for summer. I used a duofibre brush to pick up both colors and put on my cheekbones. It has no shimmer or sparkle, so it’s literally just a glossy sheen, and is really pretty! Thanks so much for reviewing more of the brand. I’ll definitely be trying more products from them!

I’ve never heard of Girlacrik until this video! The Jello balms looks totally up my alley! I’m also super curious to try the liquid eyeshadow, especially in the color Glam that you demoed. Liquid shadows are hit or miss for me also ( I love the Lisa Eldridge the most). Thanks for other extremely helpful video!

Yes girlaktic liquid lipsticks were popular a few years back and I remember Kathleenlights aways talked about their bronzer.

Man!! Talk about a blast from the past. I used to be obsessed with their highlighter and liquid lips years ago ❤! Now I need to revisit and get some of the eye goodies ❤. Maybe one day the complexion lines will be more filled in for those of us that have a bit more melanin.

I remember Girlactic especially the bronzers. I tried the jello gloss balms but it didn’t work for me. I found the scent overpowering ( not a deal breaker). After a few days of wearing the balm my lips started to burn. I reacted to some ingredient. I really like the shadow sticks. I have nutmeg, blush and garnet. Taupe and cashmere look pretty. Those liquid shadows look very tempting

Can you try Romeo and Iris? Not many people talk about and review that brand. I've tried their new concealer and it's pretty good. Another KZfaqr triwd ir and really liked it. They have blushes and tinted sunscreens as well. Thanks for the video!

I’m SO excited you introduced me to this brand! I love the two gloss balm shades I have - they are my go-to everyday lip product. This video makes me way too excited to try all the things. I can’t pick just one, so I’ll go with: the mascara, shimmer eyeshadow sticks, lip liner, more gloss calm (I want to try magnolia!), star gloss, and 3-in-1 sparkle balm. Safe to say winning would really support my desire to try everything 😂

The VBB ones - to me - are just ok, I found them to be very similar to the Laura Mercier caviar sticks - both metallic formulas were a bit too sheer and patchy for me. But I like their mattes! I find Girlactik and Vieve eyeshadow sticks to perform best, but everyone is different

My history with Girlactik was over 20 years ago when they were just a shop in the French Quarter in New Orleans. I bought almost every color of their sparkle liner dust. They had a dark base and a light base. I bought both. I still have all of it. I’m a glitter ho.
