There was an incident in India, where the (Prime Minister) or the President as in the US) was killed by a Punjabi, and there was mishappenings against them, which made them escape to foreign countries like the canada and the U.S. 2.) It's not just money and jobs. First of all, Indians (Including all Expats, provide jobs as well, small business owners). Second, US provides jobs to Indians(including, other Expats) because the quality of work we do is better and cheaper. Otherwise, why would any country prefer foreigners over its own citizens? 3.) We do adapt to the American Culture, most of the children of Non-residential Indians can't even speak our own language. What more do you expect? But There has to be certain respect for the place where you were born.

@@jayantjha7697 I do concede with your first point, but you have to acknowledge that the governments that have formed in that state have ALWAYS performed miserably. And not sure if your ancestors told you about it, but Punjab has a HUGE drug problem. I have friends from Chandigarh and they tell me how obsessed the parents are to send their kids abroad because they don’t want them to be addicts. You can’t always blame one group or the other; or even pin point at others. Life and reality is often never completely black or white.
