I see all these people calling her fat, and then the others defending Meghan, saying she isn't, she's just simply curvy. Now, I don't get why "fat" is supposed to be an insult on the first place. She's not skinny, guys. And yes, she's definitely curvy, but she's certainly not skinny and curvy. She is somewhat overweight, and this is a fact. It is not an insult. If I were to say "Meghan Trainor has an amazing voice, she's lovely. Her hair is blonde, and her eyes are...exc." it would be normal, I'd just be describing her. Saying "Meghan Trainor is one of my favorite singers, she's somewhat overweight, with beautiful eyes and an amazing voice." would also be describing. Being overweight or fat is not an insult Just because most people prefer being skinny and think other humans look better when skinny, does not mean other forms of body shapes are insults! It's just an adj. Skinny is not considered an insult, but it was in the past. Fat should not be considered an insult, but it is today.
