I love that Ecotools Bioblender too! You can definitely wash blending sponges in general, and while I don't know what Ecotools recommends, I've absolutely been washing mine because of bacterial sensitivity. It really solved the make-up brush dilemma, so I desperately hope they're not making up the whole compostable thing. But now I need to get that primer (such nice ingredients, oh my gosh) and concealer. 1C looks like it's actually pale enough to match my NC5-10 ish skin. :) I'm more pale than your Count Dracula moment. LOL Also, people really need to stop critiquing others' make-up. I don't need to have the skill of an MUA, my skin rejects foundation--it's not my blending, and I wanna look how I look. You look great, too! The toxicity of that Facebook person is insane. How can people get so triggered over appearances?! You were very kind to that person, seeing through the fact that it wasn't about you. Wow.

Haha I gotta be honest haha, I don't know a lot about makeup overall lol - in terms of killing the haters with kindess, that's also absolutely a way for me to cope with it more, trying to defend myself or becoming sad about it will make that person occupy my mental space and they don't deserve that, but when I am just being kind, I am also able to let stuff go more easily 💚

For makeup dots, I like to put some of the product on the back of my hand or just paint it onto the tip of a makeup brush and they normally make really nest dots☺️

Garden content would be AMAZING! 🙌🏼 The house that we’re moving into has a small/medium garden and I want to grow vegetables in it (mostly in pots/planters as the garden is not that big), have a compost and plant wildflowers etc. Also, I know that lawns are bad but I don’t know what the alternative is as I have a dog and I’m not sure she would like to pee/poop on concrete but letting grass grow naturally isn’t an option either as it’s REALLY difficult to clean up poop in long grass 😰 So I would love to know what you plan on doing with your garden in the future ❤️

It probably depends on where you live but I think clover could be an option! It doesn't require much water or mowing (it doesn't grow as long as grass does so dog poo should also be easy to pick up), it attracts pollinators and looks and feels great, at least in my opinion :D

I couldnt find a reasonably priced stone nailfile in the uk,so I bought a sandstone paving sample off ebay. Not quite as elegant but works just the same.

Really liked this video! Would also like to see an evening routine if you would be up to film that :) Would have loved to try Native deodorant but I am from the Netherlands and they do not ship here. I actually do have a plastic free, cruelty free and vegan deodorant right now but it is not in stick form so I have to dig my fingers in which I dont love so still looking for one in stick form.

Yes, you SHOULD wash your blender. I have the same blender you use in the video. I wash it daily using eco tools makeup brush cleanser. You can use any mild soap to wash it however. It’ll be much better for your skin and will make your blender last way longer.

I passed on colours i don’t use as much to friends. Kept the ones i love a lot, and just *slowly* using them up. Just didn’t see the point of completely throwing them out when i can still enjoy and use them till it’s gone completely. 🥲

this is something we see ALL THE TIME and I fear it will become even worse in the future: cooperations buying out the competition, it makes it really hard to navigate where our money goes, which always frustrates me. I do think that having a plastic-free option that is easily accessible to lots of people is great, but buying from independent small brands (or making something yourself) is ofc ✨💚👌

Did you know that beauty blender has a new beauty blender that is green Anna is compostable when you're done using your beauty blender when it gets old and wore out you put it in your compost I have like four beauty blenders three bowls of makeup brushes I know it's a lot I had them three years I don't want to get rid of my makeup brushes bring me good memories and is the store stop selling makeup brushes I will have a lifetime of makeup brushes lol 🤣😂🙂

I don't understand why people care how dark you draw your eyebrows on or how bright your highlight is, there are so many better things to do with the time it takes them to write those comments. Not that it matters but I like the way you do your makeup and enjoy seeing the occasional less natural makeup look with the cute dots under the eyes etc :)
