Wow. I have heard cliffe mention Crimes and Misdemeanors before in relation to some question about morals and conscience, but this time his explanation of the story and his tying it in with the unforgivable sin of complete unrepentance was SO powerful. That was beautifully haunting.

Thank you for your short and concise answer. My reply isn’t short. It’s funny isn’t it as I say that there has never really been a moment in my life like yours of not believing in God. I have always believed in God. Indoctrinated by my mother. But hey I’ve got all my marbles and so have you. But there we are poles apart. No I don’t want to entertain the notion that there isn’t a God. It’s dangerous territory which you’ve trod and now it’s unlikely that you will retrace your steps. Let me chuck this in as an aside. Religion is fundamentally invented to prevent the poor from murdering the rich. So says Napoleon and hey he was no slug. But that doesn’t mean that Jesus Christ isn’t God who manifested in the flesh. But you guys think you are a bunch of geniuses because you see these religions as control mechanisms to con the people. And hey they are. But hey if you were really on to it you would have known Napoleon’s quote which you were probably ignorant of. Probably until this very moment you didn’t know why control existed. And now that you know of the reason for control you should be for it especially if you are rich. It’s a way to not get your throat cut. And hey who can blame the rich for not wanting to be murdered. It brings order to society and hey that’s not all bad is it. But you threw out the wine with the grape skins. You threw away God for the wrong reasons. There are temptations in this life. And one of them is to not believe in God which you have succumbed to. It’s a temptation for the following reason. Firstly let me set the scene. You may not realise it but the existence of God and all of his accompanying greatness has a somewhat quenching effect upon our own greatness and we would be a lot greater without him, if he didn’t actually exist. This is undoubtedly something that you don’t know. Why atheism is a temptation is as follows. As you entertain the notion of no God, the quenching effect previously mentioned begins to lift off you. And you like it. It brings a new clarity. However you aren’t aware of this. It’s sub conscious for you. And your greatness grows and your denial of this happening is simply more evidence of you being someone who doesn’t know what’s going on. Hey I may not be a qualified physiologist but I have earned my degrees the hard way by figuring it out by myself. I am completely and utterly self taught. I am not an educated person at all but I am a thinker. And it’s highly probable that I am deeper thinker than you and there you are following others who probably don’t understand it as well as I do. If you are an atheist and you are because you said you are, then you probably will remain that way until death because you can’t handle the abandonment of your own risen greatness and replace it with humility which is what’s necessary for you to give up your erroneous beliefs in atheism. You are controlled by your peer group. And just as those phoney religions didn’t make any sense spinning their prayer wheels but neither are you any less of a sucker. Look at you. You are impervious to this discussion which is a sure sign of control. Atheism doesn’t make sense. But hey you and plenty of others think they have made this great find. And you are jazzed because you aren’t a dumb schmuck that believes in God. That’s the way all control mechanisms work, all phoney religions, they get you to believe that you are the enlightened ones and that pumps you up so much that you’ll fight anything that prevents you from being able to think this way. We get our clarity, maybe more slowly than you, by joining forces with God by loving Him as He commands us to. God doesn’t need our love. But it’s our way through the problem of our infinite inferiority to him. This is how we begin to slowly solve the problem. You too are solving the problem but it’s destined to fail. You will get short term success followed by the failure of Everlasting damnation. I go on to live forever. You don’t. This life for you is it and then for you it’s all over because you rejected the offer from God which I gratefully received. At the end of time you’ll regret it. Hey look man I’m not perfect but I’m working on it, alright. There was a time in my late 20’s when I was a full blown nut case. Crazy as a fox. But yeah I came through it all and here I am chatting to you. I have been to hell and back. No complaints brother. I am grateful big time. Take care huh and good luck man.
