Boyle questioned why Laviolette is playing man to man in our defensive zone? He said it has allowed Panthers to get open near Igor + it exhausts our players making it difficult for them to break out on offense.

Rangers were tired last game, they will always have the push, but there’s no doubt this team has been looking exhausted in these third periods. They need to run 4 lines better and keep the legs, trust the bottom six a little more to keep those top lines fresh playing 10 forwards is starting to have an impact, if they aren’t going to trust Rempe with more ice time, then they gotta put someone in that they can trust with it. Now I like Rempe and think he’s played well. He gets the puck out, gets it deep and gets in front of the net while also making it tough for them to break out. Chytil can’t be a healthy scratch though, I expect him to play and have a big game, maybe a couple apples getting Kakko involved. Things will be better next game!

Lafreniere is playing with no fear as some of these players are and you play this way you fail. SO PLAY YOUR GAME, GO ALL OUT WITH INTENSITY, BE CONSISTENT SHOTS AND PASSING AS FOR Panarin he looks uncomfortable on his plays , they are doing the same as they did to him last year which changers his style of play and i blame the Coaches.

Ever since how Lafreniere was used he was uncomfortable ever since his new role was created he has been comfortable and he sort of reminds me of Yvan Cournoyer of the Montreal Canadiens always driving down the middle.

Put Goodrow as winger on Mika's line; insert Chytil as center on 3rd line, shift Wennberg to center the 4th line. This adds much needed toughness to first line and affords flexibility in line combinations as the game unfolds.

Goodrow is thriving because they are focusing on our top 2 lines. If anything, split Mika and Kreider so our core guys are all separated.

How is goodrow going to give you more offense? Goodrow has 1/2 the points of Wenneberg in 150 more games. Wenneberg has better career playoff numbers as well. Goodrow had his hot streak. Playing 7 defenseman with rempe as one of the 11? Move Lafrenierre onto the PP. Who are you taking off? Mika will make the 2nd Unit better? You don't want it, the first needs to score. Goodrow on the PP - N-V-T-S nuts. This sounds so silly it could be in a Mel Brooks Movie.

I like your idea of seven defensive men - roll and alternate Lafrenière and Panarin on the fourth line . I do not like Rempe in the game at all . Put Brodzinski on the fourth line . The Rangers need to find the answer of executing out of the defensive zone or this series is over

Again Great segment! Couple of observations moving into tonights games. 1) Rangers have to get away from man to man coverage in the D zone, it does not work against a team like Florida. The issue with m to m, is that is degrades the ability to quickly transition out of the zone. If they go to zone coverage and keep Pats outside the danger zones, Rags will be great! get out of our own end and move thought the neutral zone. 2) Love Zac Jones but we don't need another small body in the line up, not effective against a team like FL. Crash test dummy Lindgren is worn the hell out (Mess said this mid season about awareness on the ice for him, gonna be a short career if his head does not get on a swivel), Fox who is also beat to hell can't cover for him anymore. IMO the BFFs need to be broken up... 3) K'polk and Trubs needs to be broken up. K'poke played like a Norris trophy candidate when Jake was out for a month, he needs to get back to it. He's starting to remind me of tom poty of merik Malik...6'5 guy playing like a 5'9 guy in mens no check league. 4) If Rempe can forecheck with his limited skating ability, and overall skills set (he has been vert effective on the forecheck and back check), no reason Mika, Bread, and no show Kreid cant do the same. 5) Win more 50/50 puck battles 6) Establish forecheck early 7) Protect the front/side of the net, Can't let fl score on a 1 on 3, 2 feet from Igor. 8)Rags have not played their best hockey yet in this series, and it 2-2....attention to detail and we got this, #LGR 9) Mika off PP, and Laffy on....everyones keen to Mika and his ovi light routine...

As a Rangers fan, I have to be honest. Watching the 4 remaining teams in these playoffs, the Rangers are certainly looking like the weakest of the group, despite winning the President's Trophy. The way that they are being outplayed in this series, outshot in this series, and just pinned in their own end for the majority of games, is unreal. Their star players are absolutely doing nothing, talking about Panarin, Mika and Kreider. Constantly having to depend on Igor to keep you in these games, is just inexcusable, considering how well they played during the regular season, talking about those 3 players. They have now 3 games at the most to wake up in this series, if at all possible. The stars need to shine, otherwise I'm not sure how long Igor Shesterkin can save them.

Wasn't Wheeler that hooked the Florida player for the for the penalty to give the Panthers the win/ YES this is the Stanley Cup Finals and you don't need a slow player like Wheeler added to the line, i just don't like him and he is not the answer bad choice by the coaches in a crucial game.

The only reason Wheeler was in that tough spot was because Mika threw the puck across the blue line begging for a turnover. That play is not Wheelers fault, that hook could have just as easily saved a goal. Low IQ fans can’t see the bigger picture I guess

The top line is being paired up against Barkov, Forsling and Ekblad. It’s no accident they’re being shut down. The Panthers are just straight up the better team and it’s honestly a miracle that this series is tied.

Why is Trouba always on the ice? He is way too slow to defend or even hit the Panthers. They are exploiting him every time he is on the ice. He can’t move the puck unless he has a lot of time and clear path. He also displays some brain damaged level of hockey IQ. Not a great defenseman for this series.
