Hi, Please enjoy this stroll through the frontier of acoustic instrument set up! Gaining comfort in working with your instruments helps make sure they are always a joy to play. Of course, we know Ukes are always fun to play, but they are even MORE fun when they are also easy on your fingers! I hope you find this information useful, and that it helps you out.

@@fretfrontier I have also been greatly enjoying your other videos, I "discovered you" this afternoon. The comparisons of A, G and E tunings on the small guitars was really interesting (I've been entertaining some thoughts of perhaps getting a guitalele at some point), and I am fascinated by the Romero Creations baritone and tenor ukulele sized guitars with their unique shape and voice). Anyway, thank you for your great videos, I'm looking forward to watching lots more of them!

@Peter Gregory Pottery - Wow, Thank you so much for the kind words! I will be Putting out a sound sample compare between the Romero creations DH6 and cordoba mini M in the next few weeks because they are both baritone body size guitars. And I love them both, but that Romero creations full-filled my dream of a high end small guitar… The craftsmanship… The tone… 💕. yet I have a friend who actually prefers the boxier sound of the cordoba as it adds something cool to accoustic blues. 🤷🏼‍♀️…that’s ok cause I’m pretty sure we can never have too many guitars!

Do you ever use concert uke strings on your tenor for less tension?

I have not had to change my ukulele strings yet! But when I do I will probably explore some of the sets recommended by Southern ukulele channel. On my guitars I use Augustine low tension. I try to always go with low tension if that option is available. I have experimented with higher tension strains and they do provide more volume but then I’m less comfortable playing. What strings are you using?
