I honestly loved this collection! Yes, more streetwear, but personally love streetwear and love that Givenchy did it. Especially loved the low-hem ruffle skirts and dresses. Love how these skirts and dresses move as the models walk! Also, that long black thin leather skirt open on the front and back on 9:05. It is worn by the model with short hair and a black turtleneck. Love the jackets and coats too, the structure and material.

Matthew Williams has all but taken the romance and refinement out of the House of Givenchy and replaced it with streetwear, but he does it so fucking well that I’m not mad at all. I’m actually amazed that streetwear can be so luxurious.

im mad about it because it doesnt feel like an elevation of Givenchy - not a downgrade either, it’s just… very different. im not a huge fan of the clothes, bht Im not mad at the designs - just mad that it’s being called Givenchy and not another label

@@STKTSTKT I don't disagree with you. In fact, I even respect your view and passion because you're right that Givenchy and other iconic fashion houses like Chanel, Dior, and Balenciaga should represent the epitome of fashion, style, and design. I get that, but man, these clothes are cool! In a perfect world, there would be no war in the Ukraine, these clothes would be for the Helmut Lang label, and Alber Elbaz would still be alive and designing for Givenchy. Take care and be well!

I hate when big heritage labels try to do street wear without the aesthetic know how...those molded hats are a win ..the stage is EPIC. following last season's fantastic show..this was a let down.

These designs are really wearable and cool. It’s great when luxurious, soft fabrics, style, designs, colors, and tailoring can be so comfortable and relaxed, yet eye catching and distinct. I see a lot there that I like. I’m just wondering if those long boots are made for average sized legs because those models are skeleton thin. They look great on the runway but most women aren’t that skinny.
