Yaaas....I was looking at this bag a few weeks ago on the Neumann Marcus website and have seen no videos about it. Leave it to Mel to address this bag😍 I love it for all the same reasons, the shape and slouchiness has me into this bag more than the original, that you also introduced 🤗 As always thanks for sharing you have a beautiful selection of handbags.

I tried it as well and I was not a fan. I think it‘s definitely a bag that works for some people and some others it does not. I thought the leather was actually really thick and stiff while it looked super soft and slouchy online and in photos, and also the handles were too tiny for me on this small size, I‘d have liked to be able to put it on the crook of my arm but the handles are too short for that

Loveeee the pochette!! I bought mine in the olive green color like 5 years ago .. there was an issue with the strap but it was a such a steal... I am shocked at how much they are going for nowadays!

Finally someone adressed the correct pronounciation in French. People on here can't even manage to say Louis Vuitton correctly, which is an easy one. You "made me" buy my first Antigona (still have it), and now you pulled me over the edge with the small soft one too🤣. Had been on the fence about it for the longest time, but in the end the Ice Blue color sealed the deal for me. It was sold out everywhere, but Net-a-Porter saved me in the end. Received it two days ago and although autumn is here I have already styled it with so many autumnal clothing and shoes. This is a dangerous channel for my wallet!

My guess would be because she's in Canada I think that might play a role. Also the main Latin based European languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian) all lean into each other slightly. That's why if you speak Italian, it's "easier" to learn French or Spanish and to know pronunciations etc and vice versa 😀 *I'm a trilingual French European

I purchased this bag from NM and was so excited to get it. However, I was so underwhelmed when I finally saw it live. It does not feel well made or luxurious when you hold it and for $2000, I didn't feel it was worth it. I have bought Tory Burch bags that are better quality than this. Anyway, I returned it.

You re actually pronouncing antigona the appropriate way we should be pronouncing it from the Greek origin (Antigone being a character of Greek tragedy). I always cringe when people say AntiGOna when Antigone is pronounced with the emphasis you use. So not just from French but from the Greek Origin Name the French brand borrowed You pronounce it with emphasis on the „i“. And it s really something people should know from general „must have“ education 😅

Anto A it s so sad - I m happy I got a free, good Standard Education In a Social welfare state .. but you are right in the same country today it s sadly very different today. I guess in metropolitan areas politics can’t figure out how to cope with 50-60% of pupils with a poor command of the language. So teachers give up, private sector schools are in high demand for those who can afford it .. and yes basic knowledge suffers 😔 studies show 15 year olds in the same country have trouble expressing themselves properly in written language for job applications.. I highly doubt they heard about Antigone ! Such a shame ..
