He was great, better at this age than when he got older. He didn’t throw enough combinations to beat someone who could figure his style out. That was only Barrera and he was not fit for that fight. He reminds me lookin back of a featherweight Deontae Wilder.

@John Booth Exactly. Barrera humiliated Naseem in that fight. He knew that Barrera was thrashing him but had to show cockiness because he didn't want to admit to the crowd that he knew he was losing.

@@zx50 Hamed would have beaten Barrera I think. I followed Hamed closely back in the 90s and Hamed started to lose the plot himself. For some of the fights he would train for only about 2 weeks and still win. He became delusional and overconfident. Brendan Ingle even criticized him for this which partly led them to falling out.
