I had the pleasure of having the Lotus 380 Sport powered by Laptime Performance. As per usual with their cars, they are not stock - nor is this one. A few modifications to the exhaust + a new custom suspension makes this Exige a race car for the road. The biggest pleasure for me whenever I have these cars is sharing the experience with others.

Lotus's market department functions on nothing but off brand biscuits, a gift voucher for marketing weekly and the money they found under their sofa... honestly though they really need to invest in proper social media influencers/eWOM. They can have a good market presence for not much money if they were smart. However you never see any marketing/advertising positions open on their career page... so what can you do.

@@rodleypumpkins4174 Ahahah he either could be a Hitman, a Transporter or an ''Amateur'' driver, hiding in the shadows (and away from exposure), he goes hunting at night when everybody's asleep those porsche owners and other rich kids, with them being unable to distinguish the emblem on the rear of his car cause they couldn't get close enough to read it... ....legend says he once been to the Wangan but tokyo's best racers/tuners stood no chance, and challenging him in the mountains was out of question in both fears of humiliation on their own territory and risk of death (falling off a cliff) for when going all out... or maybe some did.... but didn't live to tell the tale...

@@leksasdfO_O and god foot at the same time... you need *GODLIKE* throttle control to not have that Mid-engined car's tail become it's front, and in general midship cars are half dependent on throttle input in steering the car.

@@frost6916 I bought a Lotus Elise Series 1. I like the looks of the first gen car, particuarly the interior; and it is also the lightest of the more modern cars at around 725kg. I think a series 2 car is likely to be the cheapest way in.

He is driving a car with no assists other than traction control and ABS. You need to be on your A game when driving such a beast especially when it's slick outside. Fooling around, laughing, smiling will get you around a tree real quick in that car especially when you drift like this dude here. Snap oversteer is a thing on mid engine cars.

If you really want to be blown away by this video, pay attention starting at 9:37, when the camera isn't focused properly. You can see that the man is actually driving in reverse! Shifting through all of his reverse gears, looking up into his rear view mirror. Truly excellent driving! I'm joking, of course. Really, though, this was a great video. I loved seeing how many people were having such a good time riding in this beauty of a car.

I love the lotus and all of the smaller cars like that, but the problem for me is that I don't fit in any of them. I'm 6'5" I think (198cm) and 220lbs, so every small sportscar is sadly not an option :(

I would totally pee my pants during those 80km/h or something skids in the forest and this car must be anything but not easy to drive sideways if you see his lightning quick steering input in the roundabout drift at 7:40. Absolutely insane machine and driver. This car for around 70k euros seems like the best buy you can make if you like it raw and serious.

They don't actually make very good drift cars, they have way to much mechanical grip, which makes it very difficult compared to something like a BRZ. Nothing handles like a Lotus though.

Even in the wet it is very hard to controll a mid engine car, because if you lift off prematurely you will get snap off over steer. Which only makes this the more impressive.
