Ello my dears!
We're back slating another EA build and giving it a makeover. This time we are at the Landgraab family mansion in Oasis Springs. We only use Base Game and the Desert Luxe kit pack! I hope you like it!

Whoops, the entrance had a railing as a wall, resulting in the outside lighting coming through 😂 it’s all fixed, so it’ll be on the gallery when I can actually use the gallery again 😊

I think it's cool though how even though most of the builds always have something wrong with them regardless of what sims game it is it gives the player the challenge to renovate or personalise it to their liking while perhaps going for something they never would have chosen if it was just a bare lot. some of maxis and eas ugly builds have ended up being my coolest lots and if it wsn't for their idea i never would have made it like that, and the premade families stories that live there add to it. I hate when a build is so bad that you practically have to rip the whole thing apart or it's unfixable though

⁠@@noestestristecasso true! I still remember how shocked I was to first see some of the base game builds in oasis spring and willow creek. I was so impressed by those mid century modern designs, roof lines, ceilings and floor plans that whenever I build now I am influenced by those ideas or take references from them. Despite the many issues of ea builds argued by players for all these years, I think at least for players who like to build and renovate, those builds really gave us good inspirations and same time it’s a lot fun for renovation. 😊

brutalist design really works for this house and this family I love it! They did the only modern base game homes injustice with how they build them. Can you do the Spencer Kim Lewis house next?

I have tried to renovate/fix this monstrosity so many times, and I always get stuck or overwhelmed before I can finish. Meanwhile you're over there just "accidentally getting carried away" and finishing the whole damn build, and IT LOOKS INCREDIBLE. And I can't even be mad about how much better you are at this game than me because you're just so sweet and pleasant, and your voice sounds like sunshine.

Are you even kidding me??? Base game and Desert Luxe 😮. This is possibly my favourite build of yours so far. The incredible use of the colour palette/objects is incredible. Such an eye for colour tones etc. You truly are incredible, Aden. The way you used the architectural piece to put a palm tree in, the landscaping everything is so on point. I am totally going to be doing this in my save file which I am currently working through. I'm actually quite proud of what I've achieved so far but I still wish I had an ounce of your talent and eye for colour/detail which is still a bit dubious at times. Mine I mean,not yours 😩 🤔. But I'm getting better and you are truly an inspiration and make gameplay more enjoyable with your creations 😁 🥰

Oh my god I love this house! Though I will say, I image Nancy would monopolize the designing of her home, and I'm not convinced her decorating style would be this tasteful 😂

Even though they don't deserve this, I will definitely download this for the Landgraabs! I even go so far as to spoil them with a butler, so the variety of bedrooms truly works. Have a wonderful weekend!! 💕🤗💕

Yes, that's a great idea! And of course if you have the Glamour pack for the butler you can add in that globe bar and the makeup table inside; I feel like they'd make use of it. Alternatively, if you love (or hate lol) Johnny Zest you can add him back in and fix their family tree! Then play through the falling out so they have bad relationships. I think I might do either or both of those and with Get to Work also give them both their old jobs so Geoffrey can be a doctor again. I understand why he wasn't one, since it wasn't base game, and I think that actually wasn't his dream job in the Sims 3 anyway (if I remember correctly I think he wanted to be an author or something else), but I'd rather have Geoffrey as an iconic doctor delivering babies in at least one of my saves, ya know??

This is perfect! I’m currently playing through a generations with the landgraabs. My sim married Johnny Zest and I used mccc to make them related in my game. I’ve made it his life goal to be richer than them by having him play through the business career. In my head he is the black sheep landgraab and plans to bury them and take over landgraab industries all while been blackmailing Nancy every week 😂

I love it, and I consider Desert Lux basegame since it was a free kit (for awhile), so technically it could be considered basegame. :) Amazing how this house transformed considering the limitations. LOVE IT!

I loved this reno, it gave a completely new air for this house and I'm absolutetly for it. It does screams "quiet luxury" as someone commented!✨ The only thing that got me thinking is that this house does not reflect at all the Landgraab family (I don't know if this was the purpose or not) >> This doesn't make less pretty, at all! Also, I love that you give the upper view (don't know the correct name, but the view of a blueprint) so that we can experiment on our own! I've tried to copy your Italian Villa and it was a lot fun!

I'm gonna replace the original house with this one in every save file from now on, it's really well done!😍 I would love to see the reno of the lady with 5 cats in Brindelton Bay, or the Party House in Windenburg, both places would suite the industrial style I think.

What a lovely makeover! You you put so much passion and character to your builds. Never change! I had an idea for a video where you could take some of the best furniture / build pieces and the worst from all the Sims 4 add-ons and make a wish list for the next Sims game what should be the style and what is a definite "no, please". In this way as a game changer I think EA would really take your opinion and you could influence the game in a positive way. But of course this is just a suggestion!

I LOVE this build. I'm not giving it to the Landgraabs, though. I have a family living in Oasis Springs and I'm quite annoyed with the build I choose. It's gorgeous, don't get me wrong but they put to much stuff in my line of sight while playing so I'm going to go in NOW and give them this house. So lovely, thank you, so much!

You did an amazing renovation of the house I love how it looks and the interior is so well planned and attractive, I love the tall ceiling hallway and the outdoor gym area. I have never touched this house as I rarely renovate, but I think the Willow Creek Museum would make a great home it has that stately house look about it, very British I think and as that style is not what im used to I bet you could make that building a gorgeous home.

I think it would have been neat to use the Industrial Loft kit as well as Desert Lux. As the lore on the items said that Jonny Zest designed them. Could have been a nice bit of subtle story telling that the Landgrabs kicked him out, and deny that hes one of them. But still use his furniture because it fits their style.

This house is too good for them! I love the inside outside style, the colors and the big windows are perfect! You could rennovate any house in Oasis Springs, I think every single one is horrific especially the starter homes.
