Space Travel is a basically a better tuned Nekocake with Transparency mode and a weird case but cheaper. I own those two, and you can put the space travel on the nekocake case.

for the folding thing with headphones, it really depends. because i've found even the most well built folding headphones tend to break easier than normal headphones. and when it comes to taking hi-fi $500+ headphones if im taking them with me its on a long ride or somewhere i have time to relax meaning i don't mind if its a bigger case to accommodate it not being able to fold

This. Folding doesn't really save all that much space, I feel, and there's nothing worse than spending even $100 only for something to break in months because they have a weak hinge.

Absolutely agree about lack of foldablity. There is a massive lack of high quality foldable closed backs. Especially ones that look good too. The Aeon noire is not something I would walk around in the street with. The akg k361/371 is the best I've found but sound is good for the price and the build is cheap and ugly. We need more

I really only like folding headphones in cheapo bluetooth ones that I could just chuck in a bag. I don't travel with full-size wired headphones, only portable equipment like bluetooth on-ears, TWS and IEMs.

If they perform good and sound good (especially for music producers, since these were kind of made with the intent of being studio headphones) I would pay an extra $20-$40 for them to be foldable. Especially if they compete with the ATH M50x Edit:sounds likes I’m staying with the m50x

Being foldable creates more points of failure, I'd rather the headphone come with a pelican case to carry around. Audeze headphones usually come with a really nice case and I've always used them when moving/traveling.

Its tuning was trying to compare the open back HD600 sen but it's lacking on bass and it's pretty shoutty. EQ can save it (you can look at super reviews for the EQ)

Disappointed to say the least. I was initially curious when I saw that the Joker had a very similar FR to the HD600. Clearly didn't perform.

@@Gizaudioit's similar in bass and lower mids but for closed backs having that little bass is not really cool imo. Also upper mid range and treble are really boosted for no reason. That's said super reviews actually fixed tuning with EQ and it seems like a necessary at this point for joker.

Nozzles are not angled, so it won’t go smoothly into the ear canals. It’s just bad design.

Nice review! Grammar tip: “ the cable lives here”…. always strikes me a sounding so odd. The cable is not alive. It does not “live” anywhere. You could say: “the cable can be found here” etc….. but again it is not living. 🤭 Love the channel tho 👍

Moondrop is weird. They can make great product's and then they throw out products with either shit build quality or shit tuning or both as is the case with the joker.
