You are not alone my dude lol I know you just got back and I’m sure have a schedule set and have work and family and life…. But something outside of bts music even though I know that’s the core of the journey for you… something that I only recently got into and now I can’t believe I waited this long to watch them are the “run bts” episodes. It’s where they play games, do challenges that are mental and physical and like did a zombie run kinda thing, went skydiving, did water sports… but also did like skits or acting challenge kinda things and the earlier ones are good but once they get into bit before the middle they get way way better and they’re normally like 20 minutes or so I think … so they’re not too long … and even if you don’t want to react to them… you may want to watch them bc I promise I’m so mad I waited bc it’s some of the funniest things I’ve ever seen… you see them be really bad at some things, others be great, some amazing skills and some secondhand embarrassment but run bts a day keeps the negativity away. If you do start just keep going if you think a few are Confusing bc the earlier ones had less direction a bit…. But once they get through like the first chunk then the producer get creative and take them to do random things like ride the swinging pirate ship at a theme park while one shouts questions to the other who is facing them on the other side. Not that bad… except for all but like 2-3 are terrified of rides and heights and their screaming and yelling back and forth is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen…. It will be something you’ll be wanting to do everyday lol

You talked about how good V sounded when he came in. What amazes me is that Chris Martin knew the voices of BTS well enough to know that V was the proper person to sing that piece.

Right?!?!? He already had a whole list of what he wanted and where…. Chris voice is much deeper than jimin and jin naturally so v has the voice closest to Chris and jk next…. The key of the song is the opposite of bts that has more high note keys for their songs …. But he even knew to add a dance break to the end bc they do often …. He knew he wanted to sing a part with jungkook… I’m so glad hobi and yoongi rapped in Korean and it was something he wanted and was excited to work with them and the rap in Korean being a huge plus for him was so cute and special!!! He def did his research and the mutual respect from these incredible human beings is just something that I can’t imagine how they accumulate so much hate…. Even the song all together… like how do you “hate” something like this? Wholesome and so much love!!

Coldplay and BTS met in New York when BTS was there to speak to the United Nations. One of the coolest things was that Chris Martin gave his guitar to Jin, signed it and encouraged him to play it.

Chris Martin recently revealed in an interview that it was actually Jin who initiated the Coldplay collaboration. He's a major Coldplay fan and he and Chris Martin totally hit it off. Chris even gifted Jin his personal guitar and dedicated it to World Wide Handsome Jin. 🤩

Butter was released in May, and CM went to SK for recording during the period of Feb. So yeah, Butter was not officially released to the public at that time.

Excellent collab I’m coming from the coldplay side of things been a huge fan of them and Chris Martin for years and years . You always know your going to get honestly , love , sincerity and a message to ppl to find hope and faith in things sometimes in the simplest to most complex ways . Their messages align, Coldplays and bts that’s why it makes this so powerful ❤️ I don’t know a lot about bts but what I know so far is they are doing things from the heart !

BTS is the Korean version of Coldplay, from the human side. I look at them as being twins separated, half a world away. The epitome of genuine, humble, sincere artists, who promote positivity, and wants to make the world a better place.

"restore my faith". I think that's why I keep coming back to BTS. And I've added Coldplay. With so much distortion going on it can be easy to lose sight that the majority of us, the actual Majority, strive for something so much better. Bravo for you speaking it out loud.

@@subobing3551 I haven’t listened to “pop” music for decades.During this pandemic some how BTS showed up on FB then KZfaq and I’ve been introduced to a wealth of creative music. (Directly or indirectly- St Germaine, Blackbear, Christina Perri, Destiny Rogers, even Tom MacDonald). Thank you for your recommendations. I will check them out.

In 1996 I was 26 when COLDPLAY debuted, they became inmediatly one of my favorite bands, now I'm 51 BTS is my whole world so this collaboration its a dream came true. They are so similar not only artistically but as human beings, humble, good people. This video reminds us that there's still good people around the world, there's hope. I love the fact you don't hide your emotions, that makes you even better, authentic, humble. You're part of this wonderful world and part of this huge family. Great reaction as always!!! 💜💜💜💜

I love as 34 and have loved them since. Have seen them twice. Absolutely fabulous time. Took each of my sons to a concert. Great mom/ son date. MET IN NYC - dinner in their dad’s hometown of Rutherford, Nj then the concert 💜. Now BTS is my whole world also. Going to see them For the first time next month will be the elixir I have needed💜

I really struggle with how selfish and cruel people are, so I totally understand how you feel like it takes so much out of you. It's difficult for me to go out of my house sometimes simply because I don't want to have to encounter those people. BTS really restored my faith in humanity. Whenever it feels like the world's on fire, I turn to them to remind me that there are good people out there. They truly have helped me in so many aspects of my life and I will forever be grateful for that. To me, they're like-minded people and special, unique types of friends even if we don't really know each other.

BTS mission statement.... music for healing. As a nurse for over 25 yrs, I feel like I have seen the best of humanity and the very worst of humanity. When I have had a really tough day ( and there have been a lot of those recently), I come home and put my headphones on and BTS heals my soul and they restore my hope in humanity. No other musicians or groups can do that and that is what makes them once in a lifetime artists.

I am Coming Back is as hopeful as My Universe. Those of us who are lucky enough to find a 'safe' place where, in my case, my thoughts and feelings are verbalised by someone else, is truly precious. Chris Martin is just so lovely and admirable. The thing he said about how it is a good thing that the most popular artists are not being from the west and English-speaking at the moment. That carries a huge meaning. We all love BTS because they make us want to be a better person. They show us how to be better human beings. I always say this is the song that would bring world peace.💜

ColdTan/BangPlay - they just mesh so well, they have similar midsets. It about broke my heart to hear RM say he (Chris Martin) didn't seem to hold any prejudices. Chris Martin was there in April and had to go thru mandatory quarantine for 2 weeks before he could work with them. Plus he got to preview "Butter" before it was released. Loved listening your views on this. Borahae💜

Thank you for reacting to this. As much as I enjoyed the music video (and I really did!) , I enjoyed this even more. It was so heartwarming and you are exactly right, it was a perfect pairing of two groups with the exact same mindset. When each of them were talking about the other, they were saying things that could also be said about themselves. BTS (and now Coldplay) gives me so much hope for the future.

I must say, out of all the reactions I have watched to this- and believe me, it is many, you have been the one who has been moved the most. You got it, and you were really moved. What most people don’t stop and think about is, what Chris went through to do this in person with them. In the midst of a global pandemic, he flew to the other side of the world. As soon as he landed in Korea, he was immediately taken to a quarantine building. For two weeks, he could not step outside of a small hotel room. He could only open his door to get his meals they sent to him. He couldn’t even order his own delivery food. The restrictions in S Korea are the most stringent in the world. This was certainly a labor of love. Have you seen any posts about Chris giving Jin his guitar, and signing it to World Wide Handsome Jin ? 💜💜💜

It's always wholesome to watch the documentary, I love everything about this collab. Both bands have been so respectful and friendly towards each other, giving gifts to each other (if you don't know, BTS gave Coldplay modern hanbok & Chris gave Jin his guitar - there's more behind the scenes on BangtanTV channel if you're interested) and just being so positive, lovely and nice. If I remember correctly, Chris mentioned in an interview that BTS are like their little brothers now, it's so cute. I am not a die-hard fan of Coldplay, I've known them my whole life and of course heard their biggest hits, but I were never interested enough to dive more into them (which is true for many other artists, not just them). This collab also helped me realize how awesome they are as people and the message they stand for is very close to my heart. You were right when you said that they (both BTS and Coldplay) bring more hope into this cruel world. That's why I love BTS so much. My Universe will forever hold a special place in my heart. And the Suga remix is 🔥 Can't wait for you to give it a listen.

Honestly this collab was just so wholesome and I love BTS did this with someone who truly appreciates their craft and took the time to learn about them, Coldplay were so cool for that. Besides the SUGA's remix and the MV's behind the scenes, you should also add the BTS episode of them meeting Coldplay in NY that's also on BANGTANTV! BTW, i think you haven't reacted to the BTS x Megan Thee Stallion Butter Remix yet?? If you don't you should also go for it, another iconic collab for real!

I KNEEEEEW YOU'D LOVE THE DOCUMENTARY! 💜 I can't say I know you personally but I've been watching your content since Butter (even watching videos I normally would skip) so when you did the My Universe reaction I thought immediately about this documentary and I knew you didn't saw it before but you picked up so much of the message of the song! That just proves you are an amazing reactor, always so sensitive and on point! I knew you HAD to see it! And yes, it's so heartwarming! This pandemic showed the "true face" of so many people that it's so good to find people who are genuinely kind and humble. I think a lot of us (me included) is so glad to see you back! A cool thing about Coldplay: I was seeing the Graham Norton Show because I'm Whovian so I wanted to see Jodie Whittaker's interview and Coldplay performed My Universe there. They put the boys in the screen behind them like they were holograms, I loved this detail! I mean, they could easily just let the music play but they planned the performance like the boys were there. I loooved so much! (And Jodie is a huge fan of Coldplay, Chris invited her to sit next to them, it was cuteness overload to me).

This song is an absolute masterpiece. It always lifts my spirits - and makes me cry quite often - sooooo many feels! If doesn't get nominated for a Grammy - and win - then there is truly no justice in the world. The cool thing is that they did get to perform this and dance at a concert together in front of 10s of thousands of people at BTS's last concert at SoFi stadium in LA in Dec. of '21. Of course, they have performed it at awards shows too - but that had to be a highlight for them.

What I liked about the documentary is that Coldplay just openly gives BTS a compliment that he also believes in the message that RM Suga JHope Jin Junkook V Jimin are spreading. That makes this song so very, very special and the collaboration so unique and beautiful. I was so happy that this song was really promoted around the world. Also you see the difference that because, Coldplay is involved more radiostations/TV stations invited Coldplay and everytime they openly mentioned BTS and the positive message of their song My Universe, together with BTS. 14:03 speaking about jk’s English, yesterday he uploaded a cover of a Falling by Harry Styles. His pronunciation and vocals are amazing! I highly recommend checking it out :)

Jungkook actually has the best pronunciation in English after RM lol the others tend to have a harder time with that but probably do it less if that makes sense lol maybe you’re thinking their kinda word bending in songs is an accent? Especially like with butter … it’s only a beat and his vocals are providing the melody which can be hard for a lot of ppl doing it live while dancing… but he starts all the English songs bc his English is one of the better ones but they do this thing in their Korean music where they will sing or rap a word but say it in the not correct way to kinda bend it to fit the rhythm or rap and stuff and they def do it a bit to make words for to the melody… but I went back to listen and his English is clear as mine lol you should maybe do a “bts speaking English” compilation or “rm being done with bts English,” if you want a funny video…. They’re doing their best but sometimes it’s just a no… but it’s just so precious that it’s a yes yes yes 😂 20:56 just noticed Chris is wearing a hoodie that says “BTS CREW” caused another tear up lol seeing such mutual respect and just such genuine people who truly have so much positivity that they’re trying to put out into the world. I get what you’re saying about work… I work in customer service and BTS I swear has been saving my sanity to deal with everything else… I agree they really are the best kind of people…. Chris Martin and Coldplay who are incredible on their own and truly have those incredible positive and spreading love and acceptance values… partnering up with these guys in BTS who are absolutely the same and have always been for people…. Trying to make the world a better place and heal whoever needed it with their music and content… made with love and good intentions makes me cry You can feel the vibe through the screen…. It’s why bts is daily for me lol don’t want to think how I’d feel without them

This was everything I needed today 💜💜💜 They are so down to earth, but the fact that we find that weird (in the best way possible of course) is what is wrong actually because it shows how messed up is people when they get a little bit of fame and how messed up are we that we just take that as normal. I never gonna stop saying this, I found BTS in 2020 in the middle of the end of the world, and they didnt make me better... They make me want to make myself better. So that's power ,💜

The power of music, BTS (and Coldplay!) and ARMY is knowing that we all play a hand in making someone’s day brighter even for a moment. Seeing how big their (BTS & Bighit) studio is, you would be amazed at how far theyve come 😅 they literally recorded their Dark and wild album in a garage 😅 even their music vids, it's really inspiring seeing how it was back then for them to how they can literally afford and do anything they imagine or want it to be.

So happy to have you back!! I felt all the same things about this song. It really makes my heart soar when all around I see division and complete idiocy and meanness - don’t get me started - but this is what I go to for the last 2.5 yrs. BTS brings a light to my life and you know the reasons too. Coldplay is actually my other fave band so this is like heaven to me 💜 I’m all about love and peace so I connect with this song, this concept and those two bands in a profound way. I sometimes wonder why some people don’t get it, is it they are closed minded and just not open or they just don’t need it and don’t go looking for it like I do. 🤔

Love your reactions, you are such a gentle soul, I cry easily too. This was so wholesome, beautiful, they are all very humble, they have similar outlooks/aims/messages. I already love each BTS member soooo much but this made me fall in love with Chris Martin too, such a nice guy. There is a video of Coldplay performing it live for the first time and Chris sings JK's parts in Korean!

This was such a great reaction video! Like BTS, and Coldplay, you showed us your heart and that meant so much! On a different note, you mentioned how good Jungkook's English has become.
