Welcome! These clips are from a large video collection that is now being converted from VHS/Beta to digital many from the 70's, 80's and 90's. If I know the original air date/year I will post it.
There is some viewing quality loss from the original video source due to the age of the tapes, but the performances are preserved and still a joy to view. I'm finding many lost performances from vintage R&B, Soul, Pop, Broadway, Cabaret and other performances. This channel will be the Ed Sullivan channel for the digital generation, something for everyone to enjoy. Many of the performances will be seen for the first time since they were originally televised. I will be adding many musical performances from a variety of sources that I hope you will enjoy. I was dead, her voice just brought me life today! I just saw her on the masked singer and she was nailing all the modern day songs too like, Lords Royals, Bruno Mars and other songs, good lord I was so moved 😻👏🏽amazing voice.

I would have to look up this David Ruffin person. I dont know who that is, but I agree with the first part of your statement. She is one of the persons who was inspired me to start singing professionally. I listened to her since I was really young and was in awe from day one.

His solo songs were Walk Away From Love and My Whole Ended etc. He is a tall, slim, chocolate and wore glasses. My mom introduced me to the 60's sound. Let me know what you think.

This is greatness. Dionne Warwick is my favorite vocalist of all time, but Gladys Knight takes a back seat to no one. Her power, passion, range and phrasing is superlative. What an amazing singer. There is no talent like this anymore. Maybe the best vocal job in pop music history?
