Gladys Knight Finally Reveals Diana Ross’ DARKEST Side Off-Cameras (Abuses, Insults, Violence..)
Diana Ross was not only surrounded by the love of her family but also by the rich cultural tapestry that would later influence her musical journey. Her formative years were marked by the close-knit bonds she shared with her siblings-two sisters, Barbara and Rita, and three brothers, Arthur, Fred Jr., and Wilbert, affectionately known as Chico. The Ross family's initial abode was situated at 635 Belmont St. in the North End section of Detroit, a neighborhood that would become the backdrop for Diana's early years. Coincidentally, her neighbor on Belmont St. was none other than Smokey Robinson, a prelude to the musical connections that would shape her future. However, life took an unexpected turn when Diana was seven years old, as her mother, Ernestine, fell gravely ill with tuberculosis.

I was 12 years old. My father was one of the Motown music arrangers and pianists. As I waited at Motown for him to take me home I was talking to Norman Whitfield. She barreled through the door with a doo rag on her head and no make up. Norman spoke first and she said hello. I spoke and she whipped around and snarled, “I don’t speak to pretty girls” and stomped off. That was the “real” Diana. By the way, she didn’t discover The Jackson Five and take them to Berry, Bobby Taylor of the Vancouvers did. The entire Jackson family lived with Bobby and his wife Mary for a while in Detroit.

FLORENCE is resentful of the fame Diana receives. However, It was assumed (by everyone) that she herself would take over the lead singer spot once Diana left the group. She would have her moment in the sun as well. FLORENCE, however can’t seem to grasp that. EFFIE is abandoned by Curtis and is asked to leave “The Dreams”.

Absolutely, my friend! As an African man in America, I know firsthand how unfair attitudes can be towards us in leadership positions. It's frustrating when people label and criticize, even when we're just following the rules and striving for excellence. And you're right, the double standards extend to women too. It's like they're expected to be easygoing, but when they show strength and assertiveness, they're unfairly judged with negative words. We need to break those stereotypes and let everyone, regardless of race or gender, set their own high standards and handle business their own way! And let's not forget about Diana Ross. She's not only warm and considerate, but she's also a successful businesswoman who has achieved so much in her stellar career. Those negative connotations come from people who don't know her and have their own personal issues. So let's keep pushing forward and standing up for what's right! 💪🏾✨

Garbage info. Showing the Jackson Five to be her biological brothers? Everyone knows that Diana was a diva. They were all young and hungry, gifted and black. Because of Diana's relationship with Gordy - she had more access and power. She wasn't always graceful. The word SUPERSTAR was invented for Diana Ross and Barbra Streisand in the 1970s. I love Gladys Knight and like Patti Labelle. But you can't compare what they did to what Ms. Ross achieved. Diana broke through all the barriers. A total knockout to look at with the biggest string of hit records as a group and solo artist. A leading lady in major films. Oscar nominated for Lady Sings The Blues. Star of numerous TV specials and famous concerts. Her very name evokes glamor and prestige. Diana Ross is a STAR, baby. Aretha and Whitney had no problem with Diana. She was scared of them!

Because she was horrible to everyone. She destroyed Florence Ballard. She was jealous, petty and vindictive. And she'd go whining to Berry to get her way. I loved when David Ruffin put her in her place on the Ed Sullivan Show.

A sugar coated love letter to a witch, who slept her way to the top, David Ruffin blew her away on the Ed Sullivan TV show, when she tried to sing the song he made famous, (I know) I'm losing you. and she went crying to Barry Gordy who wasnt happy about it. and as always she got her way! I never was a fan, there were far better singers at Motown, but they weren't sleeping with the boss!

This video is 'not done well' .. they show a photo of the #Jackson5 brothers (not all of them.. just some.. her actual brother is in the back) INSTEAD of her (3) brothers. I guess, if they let that slip, they allowed other things to slip. Anyway, when money is to be made.. these videos R often created with an eye on lucrative profits.. not on the legendary acts themselves. This is not bad.. but it's not good either. Try harder, guys.💜

I will be glad when your Introduction and commentary match. You draw persons in with your caption and say what we already knew never about what you said it would be. Also mispronouncing persons names. That’s disrespectful. You hear the way the name was pronounced on different genres and purposefully mispronounce their names, very disrespectful!!
