Glaive Lord Goes Brrr - with the new addition of tight ceramics and being able to send them 2 rounds earlier, this tier 5 boomerang finally has a niche use! Here's some games showcasing that with what is probably the best strategy involving boomerang.

I’ve always seen Glaive Lord shred in normal BTD, but seeing it like this in Battles scares me for it’s weaknesses

That's because normal balloons are much more of a threat in BTD6, but in BTD battles 2 they are less relevant as most people are sending MOAB class Bloons against their opponents EDIT: Apparently this is not the ONLY reason. You are right the glaive Lord is much stronger in btd6. Still, my original comment is worth considering.

@@TheNamesSnek It may be because MOAB class Bloons scale much quicker in Battles 2 than in BTD6, though I don't think they buffed every 5th tier to catch up either, which is sad because GL is one of my favourite 5ths

Notice how the last guys sent a fortified bad and then normal and then fortified again so the first strikes would target the back one, that’s smart of him

17:50 if you spam FS, it'll aim at the same target past when the layer was popped. If you had shot one to pop the fBAD, PAUSED, then spammed FS again, they would have targeted the BAD and maybe saved you the run

Map and placement matters a lot, you need a good curve for the glaive lord to do more damage

@@literally-nobody242 it works on most maps. the big round is r22. if u can stall long enough with boomer sub to get glord by r22, then u literally CANNOT be rushed until r30 b/c of impale/super glue. r22 bfb all out used to be my answer to kill boomer sub, but since ppl learned that glord solos infinite bfbs it's a lot harder to kill that comp.

God boosted avatar of wrath + poplust setup? I tested it in sandbox with Geraldo recently, and got very far. I didn't have access to mods, so I can see you getting even further then I did. Poplust were important for the run.

Not sure if this is true for battles 2 but in battles 1 the spinning glaives from the glaive lord deals more damage if the glaives are spinning against the bloons. So for example, if the bloons are moving left to right then the glaives should spin counterclockwise. I think you can change the direction the glaives are spinning by changing the hand of the boomerang.

That only works for td5 based game the reason is because the glaives in td6 are counted as a single projectile

Think of it not like a maelstrom but instead like an inferno ring. It’s more similar to the top path tack that the td5 glaves

This is a question to ISAB, do you play any other games? i alot a session of my day to watching videos on viewing platforms such as youtube. and no matter what, i watch you. you're always on my watchlist, even if it's just bloons. to be honest, i've lost interest in bloons, but you keep finding ways to make it fun, and it's fun to watch you have that fun. if you play any other games, i'd love to watch those too, i'd think others would want to watch that too. do you play them on any platform anywhere else? I don't keep track of very many details unless it's directly mentioned towards me. kind of selfish, i know, sorry.
