Hi Smitha… thank you for teaching makeup for beginners like me so I can get my confidence back… you have taught me so many hacks that I didn’t know if it existed … I saw a couple of your videos on sweat proof makeup…. I sweat a lot as is but I have recently moved to Florida … with the humidity and my natural sweating issues even with ice pack before putting on the makeup my face looks shinny… I have combination textured skin, I have light beige skin with pink undertones so I am red all the time … I have an event coming up and was wondering if there are some tips and products that I can use to look more matted even while sweating… any guidance is much appreciated🙏🏻

Incredible. I am turning 43. I started taking care of my skin pretty young. Mid 20s. Last few months my eyelids have started drooping and I have been very upset about it. I've always loved my eyes and putting on eyeshadow. But the last few months I have lost all joy in it. I just heard of these today. Just ordered some and can't wait to try them.

Smitha, lid tape can be so transformative. I bought some expensive lid tape but it doesn’t work well with makeup and that is what I want it for the most- to create great eye looks. I’m going to try the one you used!

excellent !! i’ve never seen mesh ones ! brings back memories as some girls in school used these tapes everyday. i’ve always thought them a little mad because they hated their single eyelids while i felt they looked so nice and unique. but in those days (more than 30yrs ago) the tapes were more visible, all the more since nobody was wearing makeup since it’s not allowed.

OMG, thank you so, so much!!! I got some lid tape about a year ago, but I couldn't get it to look right, and I had so much trouble trying to get it on in the right place! You and your videos are a Godsend to me!! I found a couple of other videos on makeup for hooded eyes, but I just naturally found myself gravitating towards yours! I'm going to try this brand and see if I can make it work this time. (And besides my naturally hooded eyes, my right eye is now extra droopy, thanks to some botox injections I get for my migraines, so now I really can't wait to try this again!!) I’ve seen these tapes before and seeing it on you and how you make it so seamless of a process I think I need to try it. I’m beyond self conscious about my eyes. I cannot believe how much more awake you look with them. Although regardless you’re beautiful wiht and wihtout the tapes. ❤️

This is amazing and so informative! I love your no-nonsense approach. I had no idea these even existed! Just like you, I have 1 heavily hooded eye and one, not so much. My only question is : how weird or uncomfortable do these things feel?!? Is it worth it for a couple millimeters of eye makeup???

I loved your video. So helpful. I have hooded eye lid and an inner eye crease. I find The inner eye crease makes difficult to make my eye make up look symmetrical when my eye is open vs closed. Maybe this lid tape will make a big difference for me. Thank you.
