I heard that if purses / wallets were not sellable, popular fashion brand stores have to destroy them before throwing them out (to claim them as a loss insurance wise) 🤔😩 Your make up and skin care haul was amazing!

Women's shelter would love that make up and hair products. They normally run from their home with just their children and the clothes on their backs. . I am from GB and this is the first time I have watched your channel. Well done for all the things you donate. God bless you

It doesn’t matter if you get caught or not dumpster diving is LEGAL in ALL 50 states as long as it doesn’t conflict with any city ordinances with that being said DIVE AWAY I sure will be at the mall here soon

I'll let you know that when you find empty boxes like that the employees definitely don't get to take them home. I work retail and I've worked at quite a few stores over the last few years - most stores now a days will destroy everything before they let anyone take it. Even things with the slightest damage or that they just ordered too many of. My city unfortunately has a lot of locked dumpster bins & trash compactors at the all the major retailers so everything is literally getting destroyed or going straight to the land fill. It's so disheartening

Wow,that was amazing! I wish I could come over from the Netherlands for a while just to dumpster dive!😂But that’s not going to happen,I am 66 and have been very ill..but still in my dreams I am coming with you.😄 I do get upset every time again when I see that shops rather destroy perfectly good stuff then donate it..😢

The items in the upper left are cocktail shakers. Shake the beverage with ice, then strain over a glass. I had a Personal Finance instructor at a community college in northern California, back in 2012, who had his MBA and went dumpster-diving for food behind Safeway with his mother and brother when he was growing up in a divorced home. They had to. But, he went on to college, made a good life with a good income. You do what you have to do to survive! Glad you rescued this stuff from a landfill!!

What gets thrown out as "trash" is just amazing. I am new to your channel, and wonder: How do you dumpster dive without getting harassed by store employees, security, or anyone else? Aren't there security cameras there?

It depends on the situation and the country, city, state, or town laws about dumpster diving. Usually, the employees, police, managers, business owners, & security. They will would just tell you to leave. You have two options you can make a note to not return the property or go back after hours. Most of the time The employee could care less, they are not paid enough to care. However, if the employee tells you to leave in an aggressive tone. Then, they probably stashed something in the dumpster for themselves. Are angry you took their secret stash. If, the employee is caught taking store products resulted charges with Theft.

The bags and candles are def cool finds but I’d definitely be careful with any makeup or skincare, some are testers but lots are returns that they can’t put back out. It being in the box means nada if it doesn’t have a seal because as we know people get stuff home and open it try and decide they don’t want it.

As much as I agree, they are crazy to throw good stuff out, and recycling is good for the planet. I wonder how can you go through their dumpster without legally getting into trouble if caught?! 🤔

WOW 🤩 AMAZING!!! That’s so exciting!!! It’s absolutely horrible for them to make squares in the wallets and purses !!! That is just ridiculous!!! It’s so stupid and wasteful and really mean !!! All bc someone i recently met told me that she goes Dumpster Diving at Aldi and PetSmart, Ive begun looking in a few dumpsters after shopping at a particular store..but I have only found smelly, disgusting dumpsters full of trash😭My gosh..this is UNREAL what u have found!!

@@lilianescobar812 Exactly lmao I commented the same thing on a different DD vid but I've never actually seen anyone else acknowledge this fact. it comes down to ur true desire; do you genuinely wish the stores donated all end-of-season leftover inventory to good cause, and not have these videos to watch anymore or be able to dumpster dive yourself and get stuff for free, or r u just saying that but deep down u would actually like to keep watching these videos. who knows lol

I've been doing this for a little while and can't find anything.honestly I'm worried about getting caught I heard it's OK if it's open but if it's not that it's stealing if u open the lid .plus idk why but there are security in all our malls and department stores so I can't even look.
