Was actually expecting a lot more booing and whistling toward the English players but the crowd were fantastic. Just a shame Gary Anderson isn't in the Premier league with the form he's in we could have seen a Scottish winner tonight

Littler has lost 6-5 in all three premier games now. Every time his opponent has had the first throw in 11th leg. Always gonna be hard leg to win when opponents are throwing first.

When MVG came along he took the game to another level, then he had to raise his game when Price came through, now it looks like Humphries and Littler might be the next players to take the game to new incredible levels. The standard of darts from these four players right now is as high as its ever been. Just phenomenal!

That 141 did not want to be hit today. 😆 Humphries despite losing in the final will be encouraged after tonight. He was absolutely terrible in the Players Championships this week, but he got back to good form tonight. MVG got his timing right a lot tonight. That leg 7 was the turning point against Humphries in the final.

Can't believe the highlight reel left out the most important part of the evening. Humphries is 4-2 up needs D10 to make it a stretch for MVG and they go back and forwards like they're playing down the local boozer. If your gonna make a comment concentrate on the arrows.

How do doubles get incorporated into averages? Just the same as all other darts?

yep, your average is technically your three-dart-average (3DA), so a 501 leg finished in 15 darts is 501/15 *3 = 100.2 average. It gets recalculated after every dart thrown

When I saw Littler first time at the world championship this year I thought he will be the man/boy to beat this year. I even was thinking that’s the new Phil Taylor, but we now see other players pushing up their level. He is been beaten now several times in a row, he isn’t the new Phil Taylor and won’t be. When MvG is on his normal base level he still will be the man to beat.
