Nice review and spot on. I have had a SeaQ Pano for 2 1/2 years and own several Swiss luxury watches. It has been my go to for exactly the same reasons you state. I have 7 5/8" wrists so the bigger watch doesn't get lost on me. This is my second GO, the first being a Sport Evolution Pano and that watch too, is very reliable and accurate. I'm kind of a dive watch junkie (although my diving days are over) and I'm thinking of selling them all but this one. Cheers, and enjoy.

You have this type of clasp in many bracelets, including all bracelets from IWC watches, it is made by third party company

I would love to visit Glashutte and Dresden. I previously owned the Glashutte Original Panoreserve Blue dial. BTW, Brogioli produces the bracelet for G.O. as well as Lange & IWC. My Panoreserve had both the bracelet and the Louisiana Alligator strap. Frankly I probably should have kept it.

Since I’m a big fan of GO, I’ve been on the fence for this a couple of times. The blue dial is really superb and the fit for me is perfect. If it have had an open caseback it would have been on my wrist, but now I went for the lumed Senator Exellence in stead. (Wonderful movement and really under the radar!) They now have a gold SQ 39 with open cb, but the price is out of reach… Very nice review, thanks!

Thanks for the comment. I didn't know about the gold SeaQ with open case back - what a beauty! Would love to see that with a gold bracelet and the adjustable clasp. Wasn't really familiar with the Glashütte Senator Excellence either - looks like a great timepiece.

One of the finest watchmakers from Germany. Their timepieces are a work of art and are truly more than just a brand. Certainly not the most rare Glashutte Original model, but crazy to think this is their entry level diver that is this special is amazing. They simply don’t make many timepieces each year I love their small production which creates exclusivity. The finishing inside and out is second to none. In a league of its own and it is hard to compare to the mainstream watchmakers. You don’t see these everyday, but when you do you know they are a true collector. The versatility and hand finished craft is incredible. To be kept in the family as an heirloom was the designers vision. The touch of flavour of quirkiness is stunning as well it’s all in the details. Purely a joy 🙌🤩. Great video of passion and emotion just like Glashutte Original well done.

You are entitled to your own choice, opinion and belief. However, Rolex is incredibly robust and iconic no doubt. The Glashutte Original is in a different sphere of Haute Horlogerie. That is not to say the Glashutte Original is not robust, but Rolex is far more widely known with less exclusivity and hand finishing compared to the German watchmaker. Glashutte Original is a niche and offers something different for the serious collectors in the know. I do find the vintage Rolex are more tough than the precious pampered ones of today that are far more luxurious to how they used to be. The Rolex is an amazing watch and has iconic status most likely never to be beaten. It all comes down to your priorities as a collector and what is important to you. Both would make lovely pieces to a collection.

@@julianread1996forget which watch is “well-known” or “exclusive.” The Rolex submariner is simply a better built watch. We aren’t talking about dress watches here, we are talking about a dive/tool watch. And if you think that the vintage submariners, or even the ones from the 80s and 90s, were built as well as the modern 124060, you are simply just ignorant.

The GO, the ALS and the IWC bracelets are made by Brogioli SA. These are the only 3 watch brands to feature this bracelet.

Nice watch … hollow end link bracelet is a bit of a disappointment, as is the 40 hour power reserve. But blue dial with applied Arabic numerals is sharp, and I like the thinner ceramic bezel.

Wrong premise on recognition of a watch....most people are Apple Watch people at best. IF YOU WANT TO BE RECOGNIZED WHERE A ROLEX. I have learned to enjoy watches for myself if others say something it is ionly cing on the cake.

@@FABM27 neither of those two things have anything to do with movement reliability/robustness. And no, the GO doesn’t have a higher power reserve. Submariner is 70 hr, GO is 40. The case and bracelet finishing is slightly better on the GO. But the submariner is definitely a more robust, reliable timepiece. And it’s not even close.
