You are a very detailed teacher! I love that you tell every little step & every eventuality. Those who think you "talk too much" should just turn the sound down & good luck putting their jewelry together! LOL. Keep up the good work, you are an amazing young woman. Deb from Texas

This is exactly the kind of jewelry I enjoy making! Im glad someone else does too. I use Loctite adhesive and it doesn't really bother my skin but takes 24hrs to cure. But as far as plastic goes, old takeout salad containers work well. I like the idea of putting it on the back like that. :)

Thank you, Alecia for the instructions. I have a gas range so I made some of the cracked crystals. I found that on the gas range 6 minutes was enough time to heat them up before going into the ice-water bath. Hope that helps you and/or someone else.

@jeffo1110
@jeffo1110 8 жыл бұрын
+OneVeryHappyBird I bet a punch would work, but it I think you might want to use an older one - in case the plastic dulls the edges - you wouldn't want a brand new punch to make ragged edges on paper!

I bet a 1/2” punch for making the plastic backings can be found at a craft store. Also, I think a softer, more flexible, vinyl type material may be better than the rigid, sharp-edged, bottle-plastic.
