Lino has produced some of the most beautiful art my eyes have ever seen. I've seen pieces of his work in museums that literally stunned me with their beauty. I would never have thought that glass could be so dynamic, complex and expressive. I hope one day to own a piece of his work to cherish as if it were a diamond.

when i applied for uni last year, i was in two minds of choosing sculpture or jewellery. i chose jewellery because i lived really close to the school of jewellery in birmingham,uk. my course is jewellery design and related products so there is no reason why i cant create sculpture but videos like this fires yet another passion from within me.

Awesome, Lino really feels the glass. Just as a mother understands the different cries of her child. Glass blowing is more then step by step it's a feeling you have while working the piece and when it cools the world can see it too

Glass blowing is such a fine art and some of the creations are just stunningly and visually mind blowing. That piece at 0:44 is just jawdropping in colors and i would love to have such a creation just to admire in my home. Sadly, these awesome creations costs a fortune.

I love the way, he emphasizes the point of the glass being alive and you MUST have a passion to be able to understand this material... Nice vid!

Yes, I't true. But only because the italians have changed the venetian names italianizing them.....In venetian language his name would be Tagiapiera. It is sure that in the past his family name (which is one of the oldest stone-worker families in Venice) was Tagiapiera.....but you're right...this is the reality.....for now....... the Venetians are a people really different from the italians....and we'll took our sovereign back sooner or later! W San Marco!

it IS heavy! extremely heavy. thats about twenty-five or so pounds of glass in five six or seven layers. even holding that piece is a monumental feat against leverage, cause it feels like about 200 lb.
