+Guinea pig lover i always get confused between the two.. but i guess i'm near sighted.. The farthest i can see cleary without glasses is about 1 and half foot, after that point it switches to 0.3 Megapixel and worsens as the distance increases, to a point where its just faded colors xD

Maryam Sallemikia no, contacts come out. Especially if you accidentally open your eyes underwater or you get splashed. Plus it's bad for your eyes because bacteria can get under the contacts. I've done my research lol

try one of those fabric headbands and wrap it around your head length wise. That's what I would do

Twist a t-shirt into a tube, then lay it in a circle and put your ear in the circle. I wear glasses too. It helps to keep the part behind your ear from pushing up, but I can't do much if you want the full face down. I mostly lay on my arm.

Yeah it can be annoying. But as long as they're not telling me how to wear my glasses, or trying to give me advice like this video is, I don't mind. This raises an interesting question, have the people who wrote these "hacks" actually worn glasses for a vision problem? Cause if they haven't, that explains why some of their tips are either useless or just blindingly obvious (no pun intended) to us folk who have worn glasses for years.

+Andrew Yee Yeah, that annoyed me, too. (Also, washing glasses with ordinary hand soap [as in, while you wash your hands, you just grab your glasses and give them a wash, too] and drying them with a clean towel is perfectly effective; no need to get so technical. :|)

Or you could you know get glasses that fit or have them adjusted at the store. They have a special heat machines to bend the glasses into a shape that fits and they'll do it for free.

When cleaning with the oil-free dish detergent, at the end, rinse carefully with a very thin stream of non-bubbly warm/hot water. If you move slowly across the lens you can completely dry the lens - no towel needed on the lens. You might still want to dry the frame to remove remaining water, but you'll end up without streaks or smudges on the lenses.

Slipping glasses - I tried silicone stick-on tabs for my nose but didn't like them (although they did raise my glasses up for those of you who need that), but I then put them on the frame (temple arm) back right after the bend. Worked really well for me since my plastic frames are a bit wide and tend to relax after a time even when heated and adjusted.

I law blindly for my glasses lol. I was thinking tiny rubber bands might be a good alternative to the hair ties. You could use bands meant for braces or just regular rubber bands.

I have metal frames so I don't know if I could fix them being right... Also for slipping, the doctor put these special nose pads on that barely slip and it's super helpful when I'm sweaty.

Haha it’s actually a thing! When I was a middle schooler, I would often lose screws from my glasses and I came up with the idea of using toothpicks because it was the only thing that would hold it together (I’ve tried thread, glue, scotch tape, etc). Was really hard for me to break off the ends though. Thank you for the hair band trick though. That saved me another long wait for glasses!
