Hi Dear Lady, I am just awed by such a lovely journal. I don't think it is too bulky at all. You know, you just have to have a LOT of space for your fantastic creativity. The glassine bags are super lovely. Your use of lace is just the right touch. I look at old newspapers that have prices for food, cars and all types of things. Lots of remembering there. I hope the future generation appreciates "junk journals" and all the love and work that went into them. I sure hope and pray all goes well for you with your scan. I hope the camping trip is full of wonderful memories and you have the best time ever!!! Take care and many blessings!

Hi Ronda, I hope your PET scan goes well ❤ You made me laugh 😂 when you posed the question about future generations understanding the concept of “junk journals.” I am hoping there will be someone in the future who is fascinated by old paper, pictures and textiles the way I am and that my “treasures” will be appreciated. These glassine bags are really sweet!

I've made the tall, skinny journals and all of mine are chunky, wouldn't have it any other way! Also, future generations will only know AI art, cold and rigid, and very little handmade crafting. There will be those that will keep and hoard our creations, I believe. I like to imagine my great-great grandchildren finding something I made in my attic someday and treasuring it. But then I am a hopeless romantic and dreamer! :)

Well hello there Ronda! Always so happy when I get to see one of your videos. The journal turned out beautiful and isn't too chunky. The little embellishments on the glassine bags add such a nice touch. The other two journal covers are beautiful. You do such a great job. Hubby had an appointment with his midney doctor today and she sent the paperwork off to the hospital that does the kidney transplants. One step closer. Love, hugs and prayers for a good appointment on the results of your scan.

What a gorgeous journal, Ronda! I think we will be understood as conservationists keeping history alive. The items we use will become rarer in the future. We are paying forward museum-quality historic book pages and documents to individuals instead of only being able to view these things from a distance. Seeing and touching these creations is a privilege. The glassine bags are so cute. Love the new documnet journal covers. Hi Ronda, I'm somewhat new to your channel. I watch and like most of your videos, but rarely comment. I know where you are coming from ... the apprehension of the unknown with your health. I have a terminal lung disease, which the only treatment is a lung transplant. The transplant team is watching me closely to determine when the right time for transplant will be. I'm a new KZfaq creator and sometimes wonder why bother. But then I decide one reason I continue to post videos is to help me stay active and creative. Anyway, I enjoyed the journal flip through and your take on Roxy's Challenge. Take care. I will be watching next time 😊🤗❤

You were talking about tags. Yes they intimidate me. I can work on one tag for an hour. Did one last night that was a nightmare and very ugly. Scrapped it. Then I can do the next one and love it.. I take so long to make anything. Hope you had a good day today. Prayers for you always💕

Ahh Sandy...I do understand the tag thing!! I am finding that if I make them from a collaged background first, the addition of added bits and pieces comes easier...maybe give that a try? Hugs!!

My comment on tags is also love hate! When I mass make them, I love them! But when I make a journal it never fails I can’t find one that matches! 😂😂😂

Ronda, I like making tags but the time involved to make just one can be a little disheartening. I try to make each one unique and still think the next one will be the masterpiece of the entire universe! But, overall I enjoy how each one starts and ends. Best wishes.
