While Brittany and Santana were each other's true love, Heather and Naya were best friends, I would even go as far as to say that they were platonic soulmates. If you kept up with them during all those years, you would know what I'm talking about. Seeing Heather so devastated and desperate to do anything she could to help the police find Naya, got to be one of the most heartbreaking yet precious thing I've ever seen. They were great friends to each other till the end. Heather, Naya will always be with you. She will always watch over you and providing you protection. I can't get that image of Heather sitting on the edge of the dock and just staring over the lake after they had found Naya, out of my mind. These two were such sweethearts which is why we love them so much. Not to mention the fact that they had regular play dates with their kids is truly the most adorable thing ever. Heather's tribute was so beautiful. I know she'll make sure that she's always present in Josey's life and take care of him the way Naya would.

to be honest this must be one of the most beautiful parts of the show, the way santana and brittany have the bravery to expose themselves not only to eachother but also to the whole club, it makes me so emotional

I would love for someone to look at me the way Santana looks at Brittney during this performance; I had that look in my eyes once and I let her go without much a fight, my life’s biggest regret. Please if you love someone, tell them and never let them go from your encompass, love and be loved.

I love that photo of Stevie Nicks hugging Naya - it was the moment we realised that they really loved each other so damn much - Heather and Naya’s acting -Santana’s outfit - HeMo‘s voice fits so well in the background - that bass line and banjo picking I wish life would’ve stayed that peaceful for all of them. That's what they would’ve deserved

I love how vulnerable this performance was, and I always love the way they looked at each other. Still, the way Brittany looked at Santana with such love and understanding of what Santana was trying to say to her, and how brave and torn Santana looked at her first public declaration of love for Brittany, was so beautiful. It reminds everyone who has ever been afraid in love but took a leap anyway just how that moment felt. I'm very glad this clip cuts off the commentary by Rachel. Her lack of ability to read the room in that moment was one of her most annoying moments of the series and she had plenty.

I remember watching this episode for the first time. I've always watched Glee as an early teen with my sisters on TV back when it was airing, but this one I saw alone in the middle of the night. I remember that feeling of noticing all the little details on the episode and fully appreciating this song because no one was having a live commentary while I watched, and this song was so smooth and beautiful and I remember just closing my eyes while it played because the atmosphere, the cool night, Santana's vulnerability-- it was all perfect.

Naya's voice and wit were one of the best parts of glee. I am so glad she didn't give up acting and that they gave her a bigger role on the show than what was planned. I still listen to her solos and songs often. Landslide was one of those songs that were so beautifully performed they remain with you. I hope you are found safe and are able to go back to your family. I wish this is not it.

Even though lead vocals is what you pay attention too, the background vocals is what carries MOST any recording and credit should be given to the background singers also, it does not matter how much they were paid or whether we know their names or not. Always give credit where it is due. Whether the artist being presented is the star of the show or not.. Every person behind the scenes is who MAKES the artist the "icon" the public makes them out to be.

It sounds so lame to say that this song and specifically this performance shaped so much of who I am, but it really did. The episode came out at such a crucial time in my life and for years after this performance on the show still meant the world to me. After Naya's passing I got "Landslide" tattooed to remember her by, this song, and everything it meant to me when it first aired.

Looking back on this show and this storyline today, as an adult after years of emotional trauma over my own sexuality, realizing what an impact being able to see a romance like this played out on television meant to me as an adolescent, even if I didn’t know it at the time. I am so thankful for talents like Heather and Naya, and for what this show meant for me and for so many others.

I’ve never watched a single episode of Glee I’m not really into musical-y stuff (no shade) but I’ve always watched clips of Santana for years. It honestly breaks my heart whats happened so sad. Rest in peace Naya 💙

This was the very first scene I've watched of this show, more than 8 years ago. It just happened because I was seeing GP's interviews and after discovering she could sing I wanted to hear something from her. I had no idea of HOW MUCH my life would have changed after that, still I'm so grateful. I've started Glee because after that few of Gwyneth's scenes I was really curious and had no idea what to expect from it; my best friend was obsessed with the show, so she made a re-watch of the first two seasons with me. I got curious thanks to GP, but I surely went on watching for Naya. At the time, I had never questioned my sexuality and even though I had "difficulties" falling for boys I hadn't thought before about just looking for something else. Falling for Naya felt as right as the thought "I'm interested in a girl. I actually like her LIKE HER"; that kind of love you can only have for your idol and that I had never had before, just because I forced myself "to fall" for male actors/singers. I know many people in this fandom probably could tell the same story, but Santana made me realize who I really was. I don't know If I would have ever questioned my sexuality, otherwise. She made me embrace my truest and deepest self and I thank her everyday for that, because without this show, without Santana and without her support to the fans I'd probably never found the girl who's now my girlfriend for more than five years. She was just so good and it won't ever come a day when I'm not aware of the fact I owe her everything and that Santana's my strongest and truest hero. I hope she knew how much she was loved by your fans.
