Well yh she’s not great at taking it, but in all fairness, Santana stated her opinions, and more often that not she was joking around, in this scene they were pointing out things that were wrong with her, it was like a roast, multiple people dishing it out, and considering the fact that at times she joked about all of them because that’s her way of expressing herself, so yh she can’t take it but many times she has been able to, when it’s one on one and they like her joke around

I think the main reason people like Santana’s rudeness is because it’s almost always portrayed in a humorous scene by the show, so you forget exactly how hurtful that would be until in a real setting, until someone points it out like in this scene. I’m pretty sure everyone has laughed at one of her snide comments no matter how hurtful it was, and that fact of the matter is that a big factor (not the only factor, but a big one) of liking any character is how they make you feel, and because Santana’s attitude is portrayed humorously and we laugh about it, people end up liking her character, with sometimes little regard to how bad (to others, not a criticism of her actual character) said character is. Still, I like Santana more than Sue. Santana eventually learns about how she effects others as she grows up and reigns it in (for the most part) and actually does end up being the friend that dishes out hard truths but will back you up any day. Sue is an adult that should know better, lashes out and bullies everyone around her (in both comedy scenes and serious scenes) and then the show uses the fact that she and her sister had a rough childhood as some sort of justification or excuse. Yes Sue sometimes does something nice and it’s great, but Santana actually changes whereas Sue generally remains the same in her goal to screw with Glee Club.

Anannya Sriram I hate Santana. She’s a bitch... There’s a difference between being honest, sarcastic, and just plain rude. Acting like a victim here, crying when she has verbal abused half the school. Don’t dish it if you can’t take it. Plus, least Rachel felt bad about what she said and later apologized. It’s not like Santana ever really got better; until she married Britney. The chick has no filter and deserved it. I know that she was insecure and hiding a part of herself... but that didn’t excuse her to take her anger out on everyone. Even after she came out she was still naturally a bitch...
