Glen Nevis is my favourite place in the world for climbing. This is a film I made for the Nevis Landscape Partnership showing off some of the classic boulders, trad routes, free solos and deep water solos. This film focuses just on the Polldubh part of the glen. At some point I'll need to make a film showing off the climbing up around Steall further up the Glen.

My hands were sweating the whole time while Anna was free-soloing at the beginning of the video. Geez, doesn't she know that's dangerous! To leave your bike unlocked like that!

Those slabs are amazing...even as a low grade climber,you end up doing little moves that you wouldn't even contemplate elsewhere. Used to climb,no matter the weather.Stiff boots work well there,even if they fill up with water,flowing from your fingers,down arms,under harness into boots.Awesome! Polldubh is a rock-climbing paradise,seriously!

Loved dossing under those boulders in the 80's. It was my personal playground sometimes. No fear for the Shunterneer. Ha ha. Ahhh, memories...Great video.

Good for Doctor Anna. A proper role model for young people. Here is someone who proves an individual can make a real contribution to the wider society and still get her fill of climbing. A high achiever and all rounder who is living proof of how to get the best of both worlds.

I love watching your videos, me and my friends were up in Glen Nevis for the first time last week, one of the most beautiful places i have ever seen in the flesh. Climbed northface route on Etiv Mor then bouldered in Glen Nevis on heather hat and a few surrounding ones. Some amazing looking trad around there i cannot wait to come back up. :) Awesome as always :)

Heather's hat boulder @ 9:10ish bares great resemblance to the man made boulder that greets you when you walk into EICC Ratho. A really great Vlog of Fort William climbing👍

The first time l went to Cloggy, l was advised to wear a helmet which was something l never usually did (or do). Turned out to be good advice as careless climbers( you know who you are) frequently dislodged rocks from descent paths onto climbers below. Several unfortunates have paid with their lives for others’ carelessness. A helmet whilst soloing SkyPilot though!? In case of a slip, l suppose it makes one’s corpse easier to ID.

What climb is worth the destruction of natural forestry? My mind is blank. Scotland has 12% of the European average of forest. It needs more people to care for it and help it grow.

It's not natural forest. Thats the point. Did you look at the Nevis Landscape Partnerships channel and site in the video description? They are clearing the unnatural birch as part of a much larger project to restore the natural caledonian pine forest with tens of thousands of trees planted already. @@babsds0 rock climbing with a crash pad. I done proper face climbs in wales much harder. 1000ft face climb. Tryfan face, if you fall a crash pad will not help.

uhh yer gear placements are shit.... if you blow cams dont climb till you know how to place gear safely... if that blew out and you hit a ledge it would be different 10 ft shockfalls can be a big deal cheers... be safe...
