The annoying thing is they released so many at the same time, like 7 bottles. It's too much. But it does mean there is plenty of it around still

Solid review Vin! I haven't tried this Reserva PX yet but at 2 recent festivals I really appreciated the Glencadam Reserva Andalucia, and frankly was surprised with how good it was for the U.K. price of around £40. Unfortunately in my market after tax it costs the equivalent of £80 so on the shelf it will remain, but that's not the whiskies fault. Thanks again for the review man. Cheers eh!

My first thought was "Tunes" on the backend (no idea if they still make those 😊?) but also Blackcurrant Lockets. Defo the cough sweet moment, glad I am not alone. Great tasting whisky, superb guard bottle for the GC 19 Olorosso 😏

I recently picked up a Glenburgie with a PX finish that had that same cherry drop taste. I’ll admit it was the one flavor that I didn’t prefer. It wasn’t bad, I just felt like it took over the tail end/finish.

The Reserva line is not available in the USA at this point, but this is one I'll watch for. I really like your advise about keep trying things you don't think you like. To make a long story short, I get together with a friend who only drank bourbon, and I chose bourbon last after Scotch and Irish. But, after months of sampling good whiskies together, he not only embraced Scotch but loves peated whisky now. And, I've become found of several bourbons. Never stop exploring! Thanks, Vin.

The tawny was a close second for me, but the cough sweet notes won out over the jammy notes

Interesting! I like Glencadam but it has not hit home for me to the degree that other people praise. This sound really nice, though🙂

I know what you mean. I've never found Glencadam particularly mind blowing, and this isn't either. It's just tasty and reasonably priced

Hope this one makes it to Taiwan, soon. I've been buying and sharing bottles of their Oloroso finish, which is the only one of this range available here, so far. I really liked it, so I'm keen to see how this compares. Cheers, Vin!
