The one thing I love about Glenn Tipton is you can see the progression in him. He was always good, but he was dedicated to his instrument over the years, pushing himself musically and he became absolutely brilliant out of it. It's such a shame about his health. He will always be one of the best lead players in metal history.

Yeah Ive seen that one, I think that was the first one I saw and it is damn close. Since then there have been many, some good, some not. I tried to learn it years ago, I think I got 15 seconds into the solo before I had no idea where the fuck I was or what was going on, even with guitar pro! hahaha. Havent tried since. I could probably do it now though, but it would very very very very challenging. Just relearned some heads are gonna roll, dont let anyone tell you Glenns solo is easy, if you do it right it destroys your fingers.

Some guitar snobs say Glenn is a little sloppy in his technique. While he doesn't have the technicality of Petrucci or Satriani, I think Glenn's playing is tastier and more distinctive. Listening to JP, I know when he's soloing and when KK's soloing (more unpredictable and a lot more whammy, lol).
