Unfortunately the gate keepers of the industry dictates fame, not talent. They control the artists, PR companies, tv shows, radio stations, touring circuits, etc. They are here to make money with people’s image. If one does not fit their criteria, they will move on and find the next one in line. I know because I live in Los Angeles and was a full time musician. We are saturated with talent here. We are a “dime a dozen” in Los Angeles/Hollywood. This is a business and people should realize already that marketability equates to fame and not necessarily talent.
