I think it's time to put a roof over my head. What do you guys reckon??? I'm still reluctant to steer towards the GT3 mania that has hit iRacing. I'm still after the pure driving experience, without any aids, just like this car.

There is a fixed and an open series this season for this car so think you will like that aspect.

Great always good to leave the comfort zone even though I have not fully understood the excitement with Porsches, but this one is better ? Throttle trace ? Can you explain what you mean ?

Yep, I was turned off the Porsche cup when I did it a few years ago. This one does feel better, it talks to you and tells you when you've gone too far. It feels like it will bite you at any chance it gets, which makes it exciting when you start to find pace. The throttle trace is the green line in the telemetry, the smoother that line is the better the car handles. Very important for getting pace out of this car. 👍

Besides the FVee, Porsche Cup is all I’ve been driving for the past year or so In IRacing….

@@GleNRG What changes did you wind up with from the borrowed set up from the IRacing livestream? I’m on the East coast of the US, I’ll never be in a Porsche Cup race with you, would you mind to share your set up ?

I'm not too sure what they changed mate. The setups are available in the new forums, just go to the 992 cup pages and the first entry has 2 setups in there. I found it a little bit easier to go harder out of the corners with a lot less tendency to get the rear loose. 👍

I changed brake bias to 43.5 or around that mark. I kept locking up the fronts on 45. 👍

Hehe, had a few beers in the afternoon and thought why not. At the moment I have FFB at Fanatec advisory settings, but starting to tinker as its really strong and my wrists hurt after a while. 🤕

@@GleNRG ooooh..making me jealous, I'm waiting on mine 1 month back order, so I build cockpit till then...take care. Oh and loving the vids for iracing. Change the brew for red bull hehe, lap times may improve. Keep the Porsche under wraps...You doing good with it, consistent is key like you say.
